Its one of the best versions, and 100 times better than 2017 Disney... However, theres one big problem here: no development in lead characters relationship
We didn't get a reason why Belle loved him - I mean, they had a dance, but she pushed him away, he did save her from drowning, but she wakes up smiling?!? She returns home, sees final dream how he became a Beast - rushes back to save them all - and it ends in a bit weird way, cuz he asks HER could she love him with compassion & a bit of effort?!?! - she replies: ohhh but I already do love you! - very weird
So, instead of giant living statues, and worthless small puppies, they could have shoot a few scenes of them becoming friends - playing chess or cutting roses maybe (to differ it from Disney) - but nah that love appeared out of nowhere
She sees him as a prince in her dreams every night. Hence the reason how she falls for him

Questo è il remake della pellicola del 1946 (io ce l'ho restaurata) la prima pellicola è molto più fedele al libro,qui invece hanno apportato alcune modifiche che non ho molto apprezzato
Concordo pienamente con te.. ma c'è un altro la bella e la bestia che e superiore a tutti ma che ahimè questa pellicola in italiano nn si trova più se non in inglese con sottotitoli spagnoli, all'origine questo film si chiamava Giulia e il mostro,del 1979, ed è una versione horror fantasy da brivido, ..

I've seen it now too, it's gorgeous; the way it's filmed, the color, thelight, the costumes! But yeah, it's in French so I still have no clue what's going on! Yes, please explain this scene! (and any others :) )
My French consists of four years in high school... so I understood some, though not all. She has been slowly finding out about the princess in her dreams, and about who he was. She promises him one dance if he lets her visit her family. They dance, which is stopped when he gets his hopes up and asks, "Will you love me?" She is angry, then, and demands he keep his promise. I don't remember what he says, but she starts accusing him of his past, calling him "prince" and such (you see, she still thinks the princess were murdered or something, and that will be her fate). He goes off in a rage to feed, she catches him in the act and runs off in terror, and he pursues her over the ice. He says, "Tell me again that I disgust you. Tell me."
