Annie takes a literal bullet for Liam and the writers of the show couldn’t build up their romance in the last season. How could they have gone from having Liam tell Annie off to having him propose? Wasn’t that the reason she didn’t say yes the first two times? Because the proposal came out of nowhere. Like seriously. The two of them haven’t been in a relationship with each other for years. I just think the writers wasted a perfect opportunity to build up Lannie and make the show go full circle. I would of had them be in a relationship after Riley died and then have Liam do something stupid to screw everything up in the episode before the finale that ended up driving Annie away. In the finale, he would put an effort to win her back and then this final scene would be the perfect ending for the Lannie love story. I just think it was a huge missed opportunity by the writers.
Btw the star who played liam is in pitch perfect 3 the final song which is freedom serch if you want i went gahhhh after i saw him and i stilll am like gahhhhhhhhh

The real ending to this series is season 4 episode 24 it hits better as a last episode, it would have just left us worrying and crying for Dixon, while we are content about everyone else being in okay and great life paths, and we would have had Noami and Max as end game!!! LAST EPISODE OF SEASON 4 IS THE REAL ENDING. Stan Maxomi!!!
The 100th episode and the cool episode of Annie being in a comma taking place in an alternate universe with her having not moved to Beverly Hills with Dixon from the beginning, those two episodes would have worked better as 40+ minute movies or specials after the true ending and true last season of this series (season 4 episode 34) !!!!!
