My favourite Dylan song is usually the one I am listening to. There are too many masterpieces to select only a few! I am 71 and have been listening to him since I was 10 years old.
Fantastic list! He also has some great 21st century stuff. Narrow Way, Forgetful Heart, High Water, Ain't Talkin, False Prophet. Also Bob's 1997 album Time Out of Mind is Awesome!
I’ve noticed that with all the buzz leading up to the release of the biopic, there’s been a proliferation of Dylan covers on TH-cam. The young folk seem to be experiencing Dylan like they’ve just discovered fire. A good thing, but if I hear one more cover of or reaction video to Like a Rolling Stone… Otherwise, Dylan has such a rich repertoire, it’s hard to go wrong with any favourites list. I tend to lean toward the more surreal, epic poem Bob, so It’s Alright Ma usually tops my list, also Gates of Eden, and Visions of Johanna. Later period Bob has some of his finest work, Jokerman and Not Dark Yet. Too many and my opinion of his catalogue changes as often as Bob.
My 10 favorite Dylan songs: 1. Just like a Woman (fav. song of all time) 2. You're a Big Girl Now 3. Love Minus Zero/No Limit 4. One Too Many Mornings 5. Like a Rolling Stone 6. Standing in the Doorway 7. One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later) 8. Tell Me It Isn't True 9. Mama You've Been on My Mind 10. Changing of the Guards HMs: Masters of War, With God on our Side, Mississippi, Jokerman, Don't Fall Apart On me Tonight, I Want You, To Ramona
@@spencerdobkin9479 For me, it's Dylan, Van, Neil Young, and Paul Westerberg of the Replacements. Fav of Van's - Astral Weeks, Listen to the Lion, Caravan, and Natalia.
