  • Dom has hiked with the Fjallraven Keb 52L pack for a few years now and provides a review on the pack's performance. The Fjallraven Keb 52L has withstood the test of hiking through harsh Australian environments including Kosicuszko National Park, the Budawangs and Warrumbungles.
Fjallraven's Keb 52L is an ergonomic and robust pack for long trips on foot or skis through the Australian wilderness. The design of the pack has been developed to help distribute the weight of the load for a more comfortable experience. The large main compartment has a snow lock closure, while the top lid (which is removable) has two zippered pockets. The hip belt also has two pockets as well plus loops for pulling a toboggan.

Thanks, I always appreciate the long term reviews. What pack do you hike with now?
I'm in a warm climate so the back venting is important for me

Glad you enjoyed the video! These days I alternate between the Keb 52 in the video and my Hyperlite Mountain Gear Junction 2400. I use the Junction on thru-hikes and high kilometer multi-day trips where I need something light. I prefer the Keb when hiking in harsher terrain and dense scrub when I need something rugged and robust.

Hey! Great review! Does the 52 liters include the front pouch? Or is it included in the count?

@@NathanSmith-fl2xgAccording to the web, you can use this pack for carry on when not fully stuffed, but I haven’t tried it myself.

Have one and I love it. The suspension system is just amazing, best so far at leas for me and I had many packs. Too bad Fjall doesn’t make them in military camouflages. They would have overtake a major piece of that market with these packs.
