What I found out, if you press the special skill button right after you landed the SAED and the explosion started to travel but before the weapon is morphed back to SnS mode, you immediately use the special skill SAED and it is not needed to morph back first. may be just some seconds which are saved but seconds can mean a lot in MHN xD
