Excellent guide! A few things to add. You performed, but didn't explain, that swiping down during a SAED startup turns it into an AED (good for three blasts for 1 phial, and come out more quickly than SAED). Blocking, and holding afterward, transitions into a (S)AED. Finally, delaying a bit after the ED2 (until your character turns around), and then attacking again, gives you the Axe: Slam attack, a non-phial overhead attack.
Great Guide, I think there is just one thing missing : When your shield is charged there is still a way to do an AED instead of SAED (great move when you dont have the time for the saed long animation) : when charging for the saed instead of just releasing swipe down and you will cancel saed into aed.
Starting at 4:36 how did you do a charged axe attack as AED instead of SAED while your shield was charged? If I can figure out how to do that then maybe I can actually make my impact phial build viable. EDIT: Found it! It's swiping backwards while charging SAED with your shield charged. Would you mind adding that to the description or pinning this comment so others can figure it out too?
@@rungusgamer Thanks for the shoutout. I accidentally discovered that Axe: Slam move while dinking around. I'll try to link my video showing it... th-cam.com/users/shortsTwIXLzaAZuU?si=1hpCKTV32bXy9D0N
*Edit* I see you posted a quick video answering this question with the same stuff anyways; sorry! I recorded myself using the charged slash, back to back, with focus 5 and no focus and both times I got 9 slashes charged up, 8 released, in 20 seconds time (9th charge finished charging right at 20sec, but didn't have time to go off). However, with no focus, it takes two charged slashes (no follow up spinning slash) to fill to red (first gets you white, second gets you yellow and red in the same charge double slash). With focus 5, 1 charged double slash gets you yellow phials from the start. With the follow up spinning slash and a regular slash gets you to red...so not really sure if it's worth it, since it's two attack combos anyways.
Good job on this guide, very clear and to the point.
Thank you 😆 hope it helps

i didn't know you could double charge
awesome guide 👍
I think theres alternate choice when we perfect dodge that skip to AED windup. Not sure if its hold swip up or down
Perfect dodge in Axe mode? Or Sword Mode?
@@rungusgamer both sometimes i pull it, should boost dps coz pf dodge give 1 phial
@@0RedRedRed0 yeah it's hold after perfect dodge you enter (S)AED, can either release or charge shield 👍🏻
Any parry follow up instead of tap? Maybe hold swip up or down?
@@0RedRedRed0 yeah, releasing hold will make you do AED/SAED holding and swipe up charge your shield if phial is present

yeah 😅 it's a SAED cancel swiping down while in a mid of SAED will change it to AED someone in the comment section pointed this out props to the guy👍🏻
@@rungusgamer I pointed it out lol. Appreciate the answer though.

focus helps with charging? is this true and proven?
Seems about right

Build?
Am using elements build + focus my GS build to be exact am a GS main 🤣
É muito louco a mecânica dessa arma pow
Não sei por que eu não consigo jogar com ela
It's a learning curve for sure
Too fast, literally need to rewind. hahahahaha. Thank you for the tips!
Not a guide. You're just adding text that says whats happening during the attack animations.
K
Almost like they are guiding us through the attack animations, showing us what links to what.
what do you want a booklet?
You're literally just wrong
