Bonus Fact: the Boeing 747 actually started out as a prototype heavy cargo plane designed for the U.S.A.F. in which Boeing was confident they would get the contract, but didn't. During a very famous fishing trip between the two respective C.E.O's., an agreement was reached in which Boeing had a BEAUTIFUL PLANE with no purpose, and Pan-Am had a PERFECT PURPOSE with no plane! The only condition of which being the three (3) HVAC units normally situated behind the cockpit would be moved to the lower decks, opening up an entirely new deck for Pan-Am to use for first class service. Long story short, with one single aircraft, Pan-Am completely redefined what 'First Class' meant on an major airline.
I didn't watch the video, I saw the thumbnail and lost it laughing for about 5 minutes then decided I had to share what was most definitely, the highlight of my day.
I flew to Europe on a Lufthansa 747. I stood in the tail section during turbulence; it dropped 12 feet suddenly and I was weightless for a second! Amazing!
The innovations of these technologies are really continuous... All the people behind these are really persevering... they are endeavoring intensively for the future without tiredness and with determinations... Amazing....
The SE-71 Blackbird never took off with a full fuel load, because the fuel system leaked like a sieve on the ground. It would refuel in the air, right before they cracked the throttles. Then the friction of air at superhigh speed would heat the airframe which would cause the fuel system joints to expand and stop leaking.
Yeah, search up the war thunder wiki, it's a video game but nearly every vehicle in it was a real thing, go to aviation and choose a country and prepare to have your mind blown, it will have a tech tree, but in this case, it's multiple hundreds of planes
2:38 for the love of god, it's bad enough you can't pronounce fuselage correctly, but don't tell me you ACTUALLY think that image is real? It's PHOTOSHOPPED!
Ira Spurlock I was just about to say that. Glad to see I’m not the only one pissed off by people who make Internet videos that aren’t intelligent enough to pronounce words properly.
I was really interested in this video, because I am a private pilot. I love all things that can get off the ground. I would have really liked to finish your video but I stopped watching just at the halfway mark. The amount of ads in this video is ridiculous and I can really tell you're just thirsty for that ad money. Disliked and I will not be watching your content again. This was just disappointing.
I agree, it is very disappointing because the topic he’s covering is rather interesting, but the excessive adverts, the dreadful commentary, many simple pronunciation mistakes and the stupid “challenges” to subscribe to the channel make it quite hard to continue watching.
Concorde, several accidents, don't thinks so! It had an outstanding safety record even with the Charles De Gaulle accident!! Greatest aircraft ever made!!! Has done more Supersonic flight hours than all of the worlds fast jets combined!!!!
If I had a snatch back body like Bianca’s and the fertility of those two I would have had 7 or 8 kids but🤷🏾♀️the doctors said I couldn’t have any But! God gave me one miracle and I was able to raise my niece when my sister passed. They are grown now and now I’m waiting on grands😁
As much as I love aviation, I fear SpaceX & Rocketlabs are going to make much of it somewhat irrelevant in coming years. Pan-am's like "I can get ya there in like 18 hours or so" meanwhile, Elon Musk is all "Yeah, gimme two or three..."
Personally, i believe you missed out on one wicked mean ass aircraft by not including the A-10 Warthog. From its 1st test flight, this aircraft has been one badass fighter/bomber. It's profile was something out of a psycho warhead movie, but it gained serious respect from it's pilots and their enemies. It should have been on this list.
Super Guppy is at Ellington Field in Houston next to NASA training center. Not El Paso, I see it all the time and live next to base and it has a special hanger.
The SR-22 took off with limited fuel because the plane is porous, and the heat of flight was necessary for the body materials to expand, so the fuel wouldn't leak out.
download the "Brave" Browser, done by some people behind chrome. It auto gets rid of ALL adverts. I only use Brave now for looking at youtube. Im 5 minutes into this vid and its already blocked 7 adverts and over 40 cross site trackers.
It's obviously photoshopped. You can see the heat bloom behind the "cockpits" and the "engine" intake isn't aligned properly. Also, the 'Engine' has nowhere for the exhaust to go. Passengers? You'd broil them in their own skins! Why do these video's even exist? As Mr T would say..."Hey Fool!"
Fact Checker SR-71 took off with way more fuel than it needed but it was built to fly at such altitude that the entire aircraft actually grew a little from the Heat the seals for the fuel tanks would not seal the tanks at low altitudes once It got to hire altitude heated up the seals and sealed perfectly the fuel leaked out during takeoff that why the refueled after takeoff every plane is worried about an engine flaming out on take off with full of fuel but they all do it but what they don't do is fly at this altitude 70000 80,000 feet that's why they're really refuel not all that crap that you said
Thumbnail A++
I always see KLM airplanes in thumbnails. I live in the Netherlands and i am happy to see that people think they are good to use
id rather not ride in that plane bc it only has one engine and if it fails then the ppl on the plane will be donezoes

@Bear Kobb you are smart

That thumbnail is one of the most incredibly f*cked up photoshops I've ever seen too to start with. XD
I agree, it is so absurd that it hurts to look at.
They fcking replaced the 777s beautiful engines

it was very good
The Blackbird is the most impressive of all because of its operational altitude and speed. It can out run missles.
this video is cool

The SR - 71 Blackbird is a product of Lockheed's "SKUNKWORKS" not "SUNKWORKS"

The SR-22 took off with limited fuel because the plane is porous, and the heat of flight was necessary for the body materials to expand, so the fuel wouldn't leak out.

No.8: how much horsepower do the 4 engines have
It depends on what model of engine it could be a GE90 or other but most airliner's don't use 4 turbofans unless it's an Airbus
