Dontai if you play each characters arcade youll get to "fight their part" and see a lil story for each character. Thats kinda the best part of every tekken game imo besides the multiplayer.
Dontai in this game there’s a thing with a few chapters to watch that explains the entire story in a few minutes, u should see it as it would make u understand all this much better I believe and it’s like hand drawn so it looks really good and artistic and it gives a lot of insight

Actually Hwaorang is one of the few characters who can be considered Jin's equal😅 In Tekken 3 one of their fights ended in a draw and Jin won the second match on the tournament to advance to the final stage In Tekken 4 their fight was evenly matched until the Korean military disturbed the fight and took Hwaorang back to Korea to be a soldier. In Tekken 5 Hwaorang beat Him fair and square until Jin turned to Devil Jin and nearly killed Hwaorang. In Tekken 6 they never actually meet cause the tournament gets cancelled due to Jin missing ( he won Tekken 5 by defeating his Demon possessed Grandfather who threatened to destroy the world) In Tekken 7 Hwaorang finds Jin in the middle east while Devil Jin was in control, but Hwaorang come out victorious and they were ambushed by UN soldier trying to catch Jin... Hwaorang saves devil Jin by pushing him away from the grenade which actually Hits him( yeap that's right, that perfect face has been hit by a freaking grenade, that's how strong normal character in Tekken are). And now Jin takes the Win in Tekken 8... But the point is Hwaorang ain't no joke🤣😂🤣
Sorry to say I never played Tech in 56 and 7. I'm definitely gonna get 8 after seeing this. But the creators behind this game also gave big respects to the last dragon movie. If you look at Leroy's name and where he's from, you would know this so bear respects. This game is game of the year
