These two engineers give comprehensive understanding of their profession than many professors. They have a great future .If chemical engineers make in roads into environmental engineering, what is the point of having civil and environmental engineering as a separate discipline taking away the jobs of environmental engineers such as water and wasterwater treatment, airpollution and solidwaste treatment?.
I'm 14 and I'm wanting to go and study chemical engineering after 6th form. What I love about chemical engineering is how you get to solve real life problems, and improve the world to be a better place. I'm especially interested in the energy section of chemical engineering, because I've always loved thinking about how energy works and how things could be made more efficient, there I'll be turning my 'hobby' in to a career that will always be in demand.
@bopengames What if I love chemistry and math and physics? I genuinely enjoy math and learning new cool math skills. (Money isn't a priority though. but it's one of those "X" graphs that a certain amount of money will deter me from getting a certain major).
Trust me, chemical engineers are way more awesome than this girl. Basically, I think she just did very poorly on 3rd or 4th year advanced chemical engineering courses and ended up in this material science related position. We do thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, reaction engineering, separation processes , process dynamics and control and even plant design during the final year. This is way beyond what she does in that high-school looking lab.
u dont know how chemical engineers feel until u join them .......... proudly chemical engineer
