The hi-hat is the smoothest operating I’ve ever played on

Love this series of hardware. Just have a snare stand, but anticipate buying additional stands.

Love the Yamaha Hardware! I'm a big fan of Yamaha as it has never once failed me in over 40 years of all manner of gigs.
I dig the T-shirt, where can I get one?

I use several accessories which I attach to the cymbal stands with Tama multi clamps. Do you think the clamps will crush the aluminum tubing? Do you think the cymbal stand is stable enough to hold a closed hi-hat on the side? Also, my heaviest hardware item is the tom mount which goes into the bass drum. Do they make anything like that out of aluminum? Thanks!

Hi Herb, thanks for your review. I wonder if the bag also fits a pedal and a throne?

In fact, now when I do not have someone to handle everything, I can get THREE floor stands, the snare stand, the high hat and some other things. I use a rather large seat so that will not fit. When I used a simple bass pedal, it fit in the bag with all else. Now, I’m using the DW machined pedal, which is rather bulky.
It’s all so easy. I’ve stopped using all of my large bags with wheels in favor of this one.
      Good luck.

Good job Herb. I've been playing since Nixon was elected. I play all single brace stands. Ludwig Atlas, 1970 stuff. I do use a Yam. Single brace HH stand. The drums, '69 Ludwigs and '48 Slingerlands. Might give a drummer problems outside in the wind but otherwise. Good enough! Cheers!

Is the highhat stand 6' 2" friendly? I want these but I definitely don't want to be hunched over while playing😂

Does it hold a 12 inch snare?

      I don’t use a 12” snare. So I can’t say. Sorry.
