Exactly. I've perceived that myself. I can see it in his facial expressions and in the tone of his voice and in his name calling and insults.
It’s always “full of hate” “you’re hate” whenever scripture is used to refute the claims made by Ellen G White. It’s passion and annoyance, the cognitive dissonance and the constant dogma that Adventist used. It’s easy to fool someone but almost impossible to convince someone that they’ve been fooled.

Leave this petty; immature guy alone, donot dialogue with him. satan is using him to impede and distract you, but do not be distracted or lose focus. Remember how Nehemiah stayed focused when satan tried to stop him from doing God's work, repairing the walls? You cannot win; this back-and-forth argument it is from the devil. The funniest thing about this video was Miles proved the prophecy of Ellen White which said "The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; .." He was talking to Roman Catholic and uniting with him because of spiritualism and Sunday worship. I do not think you guys caught the irony there. Roman Catholic System is a works based system and he is bringing Roman Catholic to go against Adventism and we do not even believe that works save us. I think Myles is trying to fight Adventism and not the general heresy in Christianity as he claimed in the beginning of the video.
This is the quote he was quoting and he proved Ellen's white prophecy. I noticed those who speak against the law of God have a very loose version of Christianity where they can act how they want and even speak the way they’re speaking. Miles is a very good example of this. All I see is a lot of taunting words and even my spirit felt agitated. It seems like it’s not even about the truth anymore, but about views to him.

I say all that to say, tactfulness is important when defending the faith, however just like the apostles and prophets true believers won’t simple be a push over, Miles speaks out of passion and frustration because SDA’s will not see the scripture without putting on EGW lenses. I get irritated and angered when I hear all the heresies the members subscribe to and believe in.

Also we arrived to our doctrines through bible study not through ellen white. While I see where you come from I think history would show a different set of facts.

Man, the name calling is an absolute nail for these dudes. Personal testimony for me, the background I came up with before I was saved. I was the king of name calling, cussing dudes out, threating to fight people. I took pride in this stuff. But these days after being saved, I don't even consider... no... I hate the idea of talking to people the way they do. Sam Shamoun calling people douche bags but then "oh holy spirit fill me up and lead me in truth" is literally the most satanic thing I can witness. This is exactly the type of person Jesus himself references when he says in John 16:2 "yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service."
NOBODY filled with the Holy Spirit and living out the fruit of the Spirit acts this way, its sick. And instead of reviling these people like Myles and Sam who say and teach weird doctrines and have these nasty personalities (they reveal themselves on their platforms), I am more moved with compassion for them and gentleness. I still respect them as a person and as human being who needs cared for. Boldness has its place, but these people aren't even being bold, they just submit to satanic influence in the name of Jesus and that's scary.

Christ gave everything for humanity that didn't even want him, in other words they were "not Christian" example after example after example the bible shows humanities rejection of God even the literal nation of Israel. If these are the people supposedly representing the church of Christ yeah... nobody wants that and congratulations for turning people to live for Satan, Woe unto you.
By the way, preaching the Gospel isn't just making TH-cam videos on doctrine, it has everything to do with living it. When Christ lives in us, we reveal the Gospel to the world and exult Christ among people. These guys are so wrapped up in debating and just talking about God rather than living the meek and obedient life of Christ. The one that tends to the needs of others, breaks people out of bondage, makes people including the heathen feel loved and cared for, so much so that they now want to obey the commandments of God. Anyone can debate and call names but having the love for people and winning them by tending to their needs and living the life of the Gospel is the hard stuff but where the real fruit is.
I love how ecumenism is now putting critics of Adventism together in a single voice of hatred for those who keep the commandments of God. That's exactly what is happening with Miles and Sam coming together even though they have different beliefs, and that's exactly how the world will despise us in the future. Pray, brothers, pray. Pray and preach, we're almost out of time.

I would say for the future, Edwin, tell him that you all aren't interested in pseudo 'fights' orchestrated because he can't refute the Bible, so he's going for you Edwin personally. It's a diversion. Don't get caught up into "he said, he said". If you're spending time defending yourself, you're not talking Bible...and that's what he wants...

Are they arguing that Jesus must be conscious in death or else God would die? Doesn't that imply that in their view, the father would be unconscious if Jesus was unconscious? They have one mind and conscience? Is that their understanding about the oneness of God? One brain, one mind, one person essentially? That is practical modalism. No wonder they don't want us to use the word "being" as synonymous with "person" and why they accuse us of tri-theism, because then they would have two synonym words for the oneness and threeness of the godhead, and leave no room for their modalistic view. Am I understanding wrong?

Notice how he loves to hurl insults as "people." He used demeaning language and speaks so little of those who doesn't agree with him. As it was stated, by his fruits...

My observation several months ago. It really doesnt matter what we claim as truth. If we don't have Christs spirit of Charity, we are sounding brass or a tinkling symbol. Even we, as Adventists can also display unchristian character having the full blown facts and truth at our disposal doesn't make us immune to having satans character.

SDA, Bible study call sabbath school lessons are the first part of our sabbath service, it's studied throughout the week, by all sda members, that is why sdas are very knowledgeable in undertaking the word of God, because Jesus himself warned us, Matthew 24;4 Take heed that no man decieved you, I'm very proud of this SDA DEFEND LEAGUE guys, I'll pray for you, may God bless you all and your families

1:37:08 It tells me everything I need to know about Miles that in order to prove Christians believe Jesus died, he shows a creed rather than the bible, the source of everything Christians believe. He's more concerned with orthodoxy than truth.
Then, Miles accused ADL of assuming shared conclusions about the definition of death while showing bible verses that only established that Jesus died and nothing else. However, they were just introducing ideas that they would establish within the first 20 minutes of the video. For one example, they read Eccl 9 to show that death is an unconscious state. Sam could have argued that adventist understanding of Eccl 9 is wrong if he heard that. Instead, Miles allowed Sam to beg his own question by saying ADL believes death is a cessation of existence.
Sam might believe that postponing consciousness during death is the same thing as ceasing to exist, but Sam was not shown the arguments, so I can only guess how he would have responded.
Brethren be courageous in the Lord for He Himself gave us the assurance that we are in Him!! That We are in the narrow path, that we are His remnants… THOSE WHO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD AND THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS!!!
We teach and walk as Jesus did and the enemy is furious and waging wars with us in forms of these people!! This is it!! This is the battle of Principalities!! Stick to the it is written!! Nothing less nothing more!!
The statement that Myles is hung-up on is that at death Jesus 'ceased to exist'. I have often used this phrase 'cease to exist' when trying to explain the Biblical truth of the state of the dead. I realized this phrase is wrong on at least two counts. First, when I used the phrase 'cease to exist' to refer to the secession of life, it poses a problem for those who hold to the innate immortality of man in that, in their minds we SDA's claim that the soul (spirit entity of the human being) ceases to exist. They then suppose that SDA's say that we have a soul and it dies/ceases to exist at death, when our position is actually that we do not possess a spirit entity called a soul; we do not have 2 natures. We simply are a soul, we don't have one. This might to some degree contribute to the term 'soul sleep' which I have only ever heard non-SDA's refer to the doctrine of the state of the dead, which term I do not like because it misrepresents the Biblical truth on the subject. Secondly, 'cease to exist' poses a problem for SDA's, because at the moment of death, the deceased does not cease to exist; he does not disappear and dissolve instantaneously into nothingness. What ceases to exist is life, not matter. The human body decomposes and breaks down into chemical/mineral particles and returns to dust. Coming back to Jesus, the Man... at death He did not cease to exist, instead He ceased to live. He was truly 100% dead, as you ADL are saying. Maybe if we clear up this misunderstanding, we'll be able to communicate the truth more effectively.

When there is conflict, often participants start to characterize what their opponent is thinking. The temptation is to respond in kind. We must be careful not to do so. In such instances silence is golden. Let this kind of response expose the spirit of the person making it. By sticking to speaking the truth of beliefs only we take the higher ground.

Yet again when myles video starts there is a tone of mockery and sarcasm. There was not much of a need to edit the way he does ( slowing the voice etc) unless he was trying to gain attention to support his opinions at the same time as humiliating ADL. You can prove a point without the use of mockery, especially being part of His body...
His whole mannerisms and phrases he uses when referring ADL and Adventist faith sheds light not into Christ but his own troubled heart. "Panties in a wad", etc. His tone etc just speaks volumes to his carnal heart not to Jesus. Noone is perfect and we all have our own struggles in the flesh but if you claim to be part of the body and yet your actions and words speak differently, it is concerning.
My problem with Myles is him always saying “the Christian community “… and if we go back to the cult accusations, the use of inclusive words “all of us” as if everyone who isn’t Adventist agrees with Myles or Myles agrees with them on everything so much that they can be cozy up in the same boat of “Christians”. And you’ll realize it is not even by definition “Christian” it just means anyone who hates Adventism so no it’s not Christians, it’s Anti-Adventists.

Eversince i watched this so called ‘Myles’ i guaranteed that something wrong with him psychologically-sorry but that’s the fact. I really feel sorry for him and his parents. He’s not spreading gospel/words of God. Because he’s troubled, therefore he’s creating trouble here.

Myles sounds like he has daddy issues. He sounds spoiled and you do not have to be wealthy enough to be spoiled. As well, he probably never got the right attention when he was younger. He is determined to get any form of attention.. Unfortunately, he is trying to attack the Adventists church. God will take care of Myles...in His time. When people want to leave the Adventist, some people just love a "dragged out drama goodbye" rather than just leaving. And the fact that these ex "Adventists", (were they even Adventist to begin with?), display so much hate, I would suggest that the ex-'Adventist" deal with their real issues, starting off with why they have so much hate built up in them. For Myles' case, he has daddy issues and should invest his time and energy into his real issues.

He always had it. It didn't "go" anywhere. We said repeatedly on the broadcast that His divinity was veiled by His humanity, therefore He remained 100% divine while taking on 100% humanity.

Because I have been taught by Adventist teachers that God put EVERYTHING on the line and that he could have failed and that he risked “ceasing to exist forever” in order to save a fallen race. And yes, that same application has been made about his death in the tomb. So, don’t act like Sam and Myles are grasping at straws. This is a very common belief amongst Adventists even if you yourself don’t believe that.

While Jesus human body was in the grave His divinity was alive. WHERE His divinity went, the Bible does not say. I presume since "in Him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Col. 2:9), that His divinity was there in the grave as well, but not dead. But that's just my opinion. You want me to answer something the Bible does not reveal and which Paul said is mysterious (1 Tim. 3:16).

The truth is this, yes Jesus added on to himself the form of a man not the nature meaning he could not sin, because well we know GOD CANNOT SIN. If you affirm Jesus is God then there is no way he can sin. Yes he died on the cross ( in body not spirit) and resurrected that body after 3 days.
No Jesus adding to himself the form of a human is not changing. Because when it says God can not change it is talking about his nature. For example it is Gods nature to be just so he will never not be just nor does he have the ability to be unjust. God nature is truth, so he will always be truth, God doesn’t have the ability to lie.
So have can Jesus being God change his nature for God to man and go from not being able to sin to being able to sin when it is clear God does not change?

The bible supports both doctrines for the dead. The bible teaches that the dead knows nothing-they are truly dead( natural truth). The bible also teaches that the dead are not really dead- the rich man and Lazarus, the souls under the altar...The churches that bring the dead to church also teach that they are not really dead- in practice. The churches that beleive that they are trully dead will only bring the dead to the grave as was done with the body of Yeshua and others in the bible, so in practice the official teaching of the bible is that they are really dead. If you bring the dead to church and preach over them your official position is that they are not really dead.
I am disappointed with Dr.Jason's exegesis of 1 Samuel 28 at the end of the stream. He kept saying "I only care what the Bible says", yet he's ironically changing what the Bible actually says in 1 Samuel 28 to fit his views on the "State of the dead." That's clearly eisegeting when you are changing Samuel into the Devil because you just don't want to deal with what the Bible verses verbatim say.
Using 1 Samuel 28:6 to try to disqualify Samuel as being the being in the upcoming verses is a non sequitur. All 1 Samuel 28:6 is saying is God is refusing to communicate with Saul, and no prophets, no Urim usage, and no prayer by Saul gave Saul communication with God up until that moment. Thus, logically Saul's desperation leads him to seek the dead prophet Samuel, who Saul knows used to be the most qualified/capable prophet at reaching God. If you just read 1 Samuel 28:11 to 19, the Bible only says that the being is Samuel. The Bible itself literally directly addresses 1 Samuel 28:6 with clear demonstration that this is actually Samuel.
1Samuel 28:15 - Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.”
1Samuel 28:16 - And Samuel said, “Why then do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you and become your enemy?
1 Samuel 28:17 - The LORD has done to you as he spoke by me, for the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David.
1 Samuel 28:18 - Because you did not obey the voice of the LORD and did not carry out his fierce wrath against Amalek, therefore the LORD has done this thing to you this day.
1 Samuel 28:19 - Moreover, the LORD will give Israel also with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me. The LORD will give the army of Israel also into the hand of the Philistines.”
The Bible verbatim says in 1 Samuel 28:17 these are Samuel's words from prior prophecy (1 Samuel 15:28) when Saul didn't kill all of the Amalekites.
The fact that EVERYTHING Samuel said comes to fruition in 1 Samuel 30 is another very relevant aspect of the point of the story. God's judgment was delivered by God through Samuel. In what way is turning the word "Samuel" in all those verses into the "Devil", just reading the Bible itself? Come on. What is the logical reason why the devil is giving Saul his very accurate prediction of God's judgment on Saul? Why is the devil impersonating Samuel? Why is the devil quoting Samuel's message which was divine prophecy in 1 Samuel 28:17?
There's honestly no logical reason for the devil to be substituted into this story. The story is much more meaningful when you just read the verses and see God's words are fulfilled through God's prophet.
The 1 Chronicles 10:13 to 14 did not remotely say what Dr.Jason said it said at 2:23:07 to 2:23:10. Saying 1 Chronicles 10:14 meant Samuel was NOT "Of the Lord" is not at all what 1 Chronicles 10:14 is saying. Rather, 1 Chronicles 10:14 is just saying exactly what Samuel says to Saul in 1 Samuel 28:16, that Saul can't go around God to get information if God is avoiding giving information because Saul is an enemy, then Samuel says "What do you want me to do?" All that shows is Samuel's loyalty to God, and telling Saul that only God is going to give him the judgment if God wants. It's not remotely the devil's character to say what Samuel said in 1 Samuel 28:17! The devil isn't going to exalt God, act identical to a prophet, and identify God as sovereign. That's literally the exact opposite of what the devil actually does in the Biblical narrative.
Saying 2 Corinthians 11:13 to 14 is relevant to the 1 Samuel 28 story is another non sequitur. The devil transforms himself into an angel of light to trick people into thinking he's God to worship him instead of God! I know this firsthand because I've actually lived this tactic before I was a Christian. The devil doesn't transform himself into an angel of light to just accurately relay prophecy and God's judgments! To try and use 2 Corinthians 11:13 to 14 to justify the 1 Samuel 28 exegesis is really bizarre and incorrect. You can not just grab an unrelated concept and then use it because just accepting the Bible verse's themselves challenges your current presupposition about death.
Then, the logic at 2:25:13 to read verse 1 Samuel 28:6 and say by "Prophets. Samuel was a prophet." Then, deduce that disqualified Samuel is another obvious error. All 1 Samuel 28:6 says is God wasn't responding to Saul by any means up until that point, and Saul had tried other prophets. Verse 1 Samuel 28:6 is just the logical reason why Saul went to the necromancing desperation and then asked for a DEAD PROPHET Samuel. Clearly, logically Saul wasn't a necromancer himself, so after God wasn't responding through all the alive prophets, Saul said I'm gonna try my last option and try to necromancer the best prophet Saul ever knew, who Saul knows God spoke through many times!
I honestly feel like not even reading past verse 1 Samuel 28:6 itself is borderline sketchy because everyone knows what the next few verses are going to say. So, the methodology of going to 1 Chronicles, then 2nd Corinthians, then stopping at 1 Samuel 28:6 misrepresenting an easy exegesis of 1 Samuel 28:6 is bad look at an objective exegesis of 1 Samuel 28! I know the show was 2 hours in and literally about to end, so I understand not wanting to do a long in-depth look study on the chapter, but not even reading the actual verses in question, only substantiates my point that Dr.Jason wasn't just letting the Bible itself speak. If the Bible itself is speaking, we ALL agree the actual verses in question need to be read. Objectively, the verses with Samuel's name and dialogue are the relevant information more than anything else.
Hopefully, we will add 1 Samuel 28 to our possible topics in the future. Just throwing the devil into a story because the story messes with a presupposition is a very serious matter. Especially, when you have the devil just being honest and declaring God's judgment. That's not something the devil ever does, and is illogical to even think about. You are making the devil aware of future events and that in itself isn't a minor thing. Logically thinking through who, what, where, when, why, and how leads to actual truth! Turning an essentially "Thus Saith the Lord" into a "Thus Saith the Devil" is a crazy error to make! So, if Samuel is only relaying God's direct information, you really are changing God's words to the devil's words.
Anyway, Randy's prayer right after was a good prayer. Nothing personal, but I definitely disagree with SDA on 1 Samuel 28, and Dr.Jason is capable of reading 1 Samuel 28 in a more objective, and less eisegeting manner. God bless
