That’s very sweet to read & we truly do care about y’all 🫶🏼 it means a lot to us that anyone watches our journey and life! We’re happy our life and message resonates with you and appreciate you sharing your story! purchasing a van is difficult (our first van broke down a week after buying it and we fortunately were able to return it) but the second van we found felt right when we looked at the carfax and we just knew it was the right one. Look for low miles driven yearly, make sure it isn’t part of an old rental fleet and don’t rush into the purchase even though it’s an annoying process! We also always suggest that you take the time to rent a van and go on a trip before living in one full time so you can see if it’s compatible with your lifestyle or not 🫶🏼

We were also on the road at the time and just got housed 2 months ago at an unusual place (a goddess temple). Your content is still helping me to regulate. Interesting to see how your van is built, especially considering all the equipment you need. Right now I'm building a van and this gives me some ideas on how to get past some obstacles. Thanks for sharing this.
Happy to be helpful and good luck on your build! Best choice we made was to take on building a tiny house in a van honestly! It was stressful af during it but worth the effort and difficulties

I made storage for all my catheters in the "joists" of the bed frame, just by crisscrossing elastic rope. It's a good way to use that space that, like you mentioned, is dead space.

The 8/19 film where y'all speak of helping each other 100% on point. My husband & I were married 39 yrs. In that time our roles as "helpmate" rotated back & forth many times. Helping your love as needed is the ultimate expression of REAL love for the one you love the most on this earth. To nay-sayers I must reply 😝. I call that Truck Driver fridge, that's what I had in my truck, drove me nuts. If I ever get my disability and can drive a Van I'll get a Dodge Promaster 4 foot 110v fridge.

@@NicholetteBrian slow and steady. We scored a second ramp van, and both interior dimensions are similar. So I hope to make a modular system so that we could use either van for travel. You guys have been an inspiration for us to try and get out more. It’s a lot. But it’s a lot better than sitting in one spot at the house all day.
@@NicholetteBrian looking at trailers and campers and rvs, the van seems to make the most sense in affordability and longevity.
@@NicholetteBrian thinking about doing most of the framing out of metal with my welder and tools. Be a little lighter than wood. And the van is already heavy enough with the ramp.
I have seen people do that with every part of the build even with the cabinets so it’s not a bad idea! TH-cam was our inspo so when in doubt just search whatever it is you are trying to do and usually there is a video of someone doing it and if there isn’t then make one so there is!
