That’s why their MVs and aesthetics have been consistently superb no matter which firms they use and so different from any other k pop MVs out there. The entire XGALX employees and actual MV production companies also did a great job in visualizing the concept!! The team is on another level 🔥
The Music Video is just a teaser. The "I" in GRL was omitted because there is no "I" in TEAM; the "V" in GVNG is the symbol for the Alphaz fandom. There are a lot of technical inputs in the XG of the new era. They even incorporated sign language to convey a message to fans and would-be fans with hearing impairment. Yes, this song was sampled and formulated in 2017. The company already purchased the IP rights to the sample stocks so you won’t hear it elsewhere or uploaded by the original producer. Simon keeps his connections with beatmakers and producers he collaborated with when he was staying in the US, even brought some of them to Japan. He mentioned it in one of the interviews that most of the beat samples in “xg files” they’re releasing nowadays are from the early preparation which was 2017.
