BWaaaaaaa!!!! Got me in the feels buddy!! I love that bike soo much, such awesome memories!! It makes me so happy to see her out in the desert being ridden by you who will enjoy and use her the way she was meant to be ridden! It's like a daughter who returned home from abroad..... missed her like crazy, and soooo good to have home! Thank you Tyler for such an awesome video!!!
From a small TH-camr to you, a medium TH-camr, I just wanna say that it's a shame that a video like this only has 32k views. I'm pretty new to your channel, and to dual sporting, im from the US but live in Malaysia...tons of amazing trails...think jungle, mud, and tigers. TH-cam is cruel, so I'm glad you have found other, better ways to monetize what you do so you can do it more. All the best!
Now after having had the opportunity to ride katsumi for a few minutes I can attest to the fact that she is a very special bike. Unique, simple, smooth and powerful... Truly one of a kind and now back in your stable where she should be. Thanks for letting me take a spin on her and I'm happy she's yours now.
There is no one more appropriate to have Katsumi in his garage than you, Tyler! Having watched your chan-chan from early on and seeing Mr. D restore both Black Widow and Katsumi to their trail-shredding capability and noting your riding skills develop from rather nascent to impressive (as the whoops segments show), you are the epitome of EveryMan riders. Don't need and don't want to afford a new rig. Ride what works and just have fun! (and love the Mr. D intro/extro music)
Been following you nearly from the start of your chanchan and I am impressed how your riding style / skills improved over the time, you are now flying man, keep it up.
Again Tyler, thank you for the quality content. It's vids like these that have cemented my interest in the smaller displacement and lighter weight enduro and ADV bikes. Please keep up the great work.
I'm amazed !! My new adventure partner is a KLX 300 from 2000, and my Kelly( KLE 500) is thrilled !!! Congratulations !! You both deserve to be happy out there !! Loved the news !! Tyler, you rock !!! Cheers
Great news! I followed the katsumi build when I was riding a 99 klx300. It was an awesome play bike. Light weight, nimble, and plenty of power. I was just about to dump a bunch of money into the suspension and motor when I decided to pick up a KTM 525 exc. Not that I regret the choice, but I do wish I still had the klx around.
This is one channel I can always hit the like button before even watching the video. As always thank you for being you. Family and friends are what it's all about. God Bless you and yours.
So cool Tyler! Incredible production and editing, and your generosity in your gratitude creates a real sense of brotherhood. That’s why I keep coming back to this chan-chan. And Mr. Duh Factor’s build videos of Katsumi are what have had me drop 1000’s of $ into Donatello, my 2006 KLX 250s. I love my bike and what is still possible with it. Thanks for your work and being a vortex of awesomeness Tyler and Co.
Wooohoo! I’m so happy to see you making vids again, this is by far my favorite MC channel, and you are why I got into riding in the first place. Keep up the excellent work Tyler!
Congrats! I enjoyed watching Mr Duhfactor build this bike. There are not any vloggers riding the KLX 250. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Keep it going.
You lucky dog!! I was drooling over Damon's creation when he put it up for sale. I was knee deep in my DR350 and no funds. Your gonna have alot of fun that.
Frenemy pricked my ears up then made me laugh, everything else was like I could have done on my best day, putting my dreams and ideals on video. excellent content keep it up
No disrespect to the Black Widow but Katsumi is my all time favorite dirt bike! I knew exactly what bike it was despite your attempts to camouflage it for your thumbnail! So jealous!
I took some great advice from this channel. I was looking to get back into trail riding and using the bike for general commuting. I did the normal thing, looked at the budget for a new CRF 250l and wondering how I would slide the payments into the monthly outgoings. Then watching this channel I hear the sage advice "Dont go into debt! just dont do it! It will make you miserable." well a little digging and patience and I scrounged up a neglected and tired looking 400cc dual sport from a local farmer with less than 2000 Kilometres on it, farm use only, mine for €500, another few €100 thrown at it to get what should work working, and an Acerbis plastics kit and hours of cleaning and its a brand new bike for less than a grand and owes me nothing, in fact this was the first winter where I have not come close to cabin fever as I was busy with the bike. Its parked right outside my window now, I can see it from here. I'm not going anywhere right now, but I could throw a bag on the back and be on the ferry to Morroco in 48 hours. I wont of course I have stuff to do, and the Bride would have a spectacular and completely justifiable sense of humour failure..... but I know the bike could do it and thats a comfort :-)
Epic video bro!! Love that you added Bullet Train at the end! I'm so happy Katsumi remains in the family! This video made me really miss riding with you, however I'm not sure I could keep up with you anymore! Nice riding brother!!!
Sweet! I’ve been going through Mr. Duh Factor’s video series on this bike recently. I picked up a 2004 KLX 300 shin kicker that is plated and titled in Virginia. Katsumi is an amazing bike and I hope to use it as a blue print for engine and suspension upgrades for mine. I’m glad it made it into your stable. Great video my friend!
Wow heart thumper! So cool to see her being romped. Congrats man I got to say I'm a bit envious LOL Miss that sweet dessert and you and your amazing family. Love this video!
Congrats Tyler! Been watching your vids for ages, and they're always a pleasure. Nothing quite like the "new bike" feeling, especially one that's so perfectly kitted out like that. Maybe one day I'll upgrade my Drz to something like a ktm350...
Awesome video Tyler. Lovin the new "old" bike. Maybe it'll give me some inspiration of what to do with my Kawasaki KLE500. Going to watch the build series now! Thanks for bringing this amazing video.
Those shots are just wickeddddd your home town track is ohhh my god amazing makes me wanna leave work fire up the big bad brp monster and ride off into the sunset cheers buddy buck from nz
Badass! I remember seeing that bike in your videos and never knew what it was. I always thought it was cool. Sucks that Hermit isn't making videos anymore.
Love this! I have just started to rebuild my son’s 1994 KLX 250 as a surprise gift. I can only hope it turns out okay. Katsumi seems to be one bad bike! Enjoy!
Our suffering is over! Mmmmm, YES! I love the Jeremy Clarkson nod as well as the Bullet Train soundtrack! Perfect! So happy you’ve got Katsumi! What’s next? Peggy? 😂
I've owned 2 KLX300s (1998 and 2004) and a 2006 KLX250. Gotta say - the 300s were freaking awesome in almost every way. The heavier (new generation) 250 ... not so much. The 300s were light-ish and really responsive especially with a Bill Blue and/or keihin.
Another excellent edit...and luvd the MV transition at 9min., Serendipitous to say the least, congrats, & that "video" manual IS Priceless! She's a Beautiful Beast :)
Nice. Loved that bike when I used to see it in some of your older videos. On a different note... damn - your riding is getting better and better all the time. I need to make it out to St George one of these days!!
Thanks for posting the link to Mr Duhfactor's build series on Katsumi. Watched all the episodes, which have been a true inspiration for my own build project - a 1991 Kawasaki KLE 500. On another note, just watched Shadetree Surgeon's video on Honda's CRF450L, and wondered what your thoughts were? Potential upcoming video topic?
Since english is not my motherthongue I would need to use some sort of translatoric help to put together a decent coment for this. But even the Oxford dictionary could not come up with enough brilliance and awesomeness to compliment enough your narratation of these vids! Thumbs up from another klx-er and keep on braaping!
Fantastic video as always!!! I was wondering why Duhfactor hadn’t done any katsumi videos lately....that build series was super informative and will certainly make for a wonderful workshop manual when needed. :)
Great video. On a side note, have you done a video on how to make that camera backpack? I know you have done them on your helmet setup before. I have been trying to figure out how to make a backpack mount like that for a while and haven't quite figured it out!
BWaaaaaaa!!!! Got me in the feels buddy!! I love that bike soo much, such awesome memories!! You look so at ease riding that bike. Editing magic helps but you can’t hide pure joy.

You are the right owner of that bike. That is special and I can’t wait to see the videos to come. Congrats.
One of your best videos ever! I have to admit that a huge envious smile came across my face when you said that you were actually able to buy her!
Watched Mr. Duh's full build series on this bike....was sooooo bummed when he got rid of it....sooooo stoked it's in your loving hands!
Been following you nearly from the start of your chanchan and I am impressed how your riding style / skills improved over the time, you are now flying man, keep it up.

ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS ON YOUR CHANNEL!!

Great video. I love hearing you narrate the videos. You are very passionate and that's why we all connect and follow you. Keep up the great work. 🤘
So dang excited to see this beauty in your possession! One of the cleanest, simplistic and down right purposefully built bikes I've ever seen!!
This is one channel I can always hit the like button before even watching the video. As always thank you for being you. Family and friends are what it's all about. God Bless you and yours.
My favorite shot is the last one. Like the bike simple and so perfect.
Been a while since I’ve watched a video this long twice in a row.
I’m a new rider. I’m totally hooked.
I ride a Dr 350 and love that thing. These bikes really do have a soul.
Glad to see this bike again.
All the work needed to get this footage much respect
I’m currently restoring a 1990 XR250r. Old dirt bikes scratch the nostalgia itch!
So happy for ya, Tyler!! She's gorgeous!!
How I have missed the AMAZING quality of your videos. So good to see a everide video on my feed! Keep up the good work man.
Love the video! Your shots and editing skills are amazing
TheXJthatCould wish I could talk like him
KATSUMI!! This makes me so happy
Nice to bring back simple, reliable and comfortable to ride machines.
I should have kept some of the older 4 strokes I had.

That's the best I've seen you ride on any bike... I want one!
This is awesome.. She may not reside at the home of the Moto-Wizard anymore but I'm sure all would agree she's still home..
No disrespect to the Black Widow but Katsumi is my all time favorite dirt bike! I knew exactly what bike it was despite your attempts to camouflage it for your thumbnail! So jealous!
Awesome footage, awesome editing, awesome surroundings, awesome bike! You deserve a lot of views!
Congrats on the new machine! Also great mike snow sound track.

Yeah! I have a 2010 KLX351 with the pumper and really love it. They just handle well and the 6 speed is a step up from the DRZ. Good buy!

a moto Guiomar what year is your bike
