Good info! I use the 12.9 front-facing camera and with additional lighting (KEY and KING to photography), my images look amazing. Also, the images are sent to a smartphone (small), and it looks sharp. Now, if you are trying to print 8x10 photos from an iPad, you might have a problem. LOL!

This is a very cheap way to start I want to start like this but will people rent this setup how much should charge for digital only I was thinking 250 drop off no attendant with backdrop and props with attendant and prints 500$ for 4 hours which printer do I need to buy to connect to this iPad thanks drew

Did you screw the mount into the wood. Because I’m watching your other video of the DIY photobooth and I’m seeing it connected to the light. It looks like it’s built into the piece of wood somehow. Can you please help me understand that part. It’s the only part I’m missing. I’ve put everything else together.

I've been thinking about starting my own business now too since I'm getting tired of working for somebody lol I'm curious though, how much rental charge can you charge for a photobooth system like this as compared to a DSLR one? Have you ever had any client's complain about your photobooth not being a DSLR camera of they already know in advance that it's an IPAD photobooth? Thank you so much!

You can charge whatever you want and feel is worth your time. But our ipad photo booth rentals are usually around the $300 - $350 range. We don't stay...we just drop off and pick up. I also offer a dslr print booth for more money. I always let them know that the print booth will produce better images. I also let them know that the Digital Photo booth is more for entertainment but does take decent photos. I never mention that its an ipad photo booth. If you mention the word ipad. I always call it Digital Photo Booth.

We run our photo business differently. We do all day rentals (from 11am-11pm). We don't charge by the hour.

Yes, but social media platforms like IG may not allow it. The photo booth app is set up for FB, Twitter, and IG. However, some social media platforms would not allow 3rd party apps to upload and post images.
Does Simple Booth can customize a start screen animated like mirror booth? Thanks

Yes, I know many people who do this full time and HAD to quit their 9 to 5 job. They market it on social media and to corporate clients too. Have you heard of photo booth drop-off and the 360 photo booth? I know so many people who made a killing during the pandemic. They would leave their photo booth (because they couldn't stay at the parties) for $600 (3 hrs). They did this every weekend. They had multiple booths. But you are right. When I started, I had a nine o 5. It costs to start the business. My photo booth is all metal, sturdy, and not a tripod.
On a side note, my friend only works with corporate clients and made over $115K last year.
