Just bought one from Perimeter Billiards. It's a 7' and you're right, they are not very heavy. They included 10 wires, instructions say 4 on each side but for a 7', I'm thinking 3 would be more than ample. Less wires coming down the better. Great video - thank you.
@@sk80soarus I like it a lot. It plays really consistent, balls roll straight and you get perfect bounce off the rails every time. Table is 4 yrs old now and still looks new in person!
hello, love what you were doing, may i ask what is the distance between the light and the table ? i'm looking for optimal distance and can't find one, thanks
Most of my screws caught the joist. There was a couple of screws that I had to use drywall anchors. They are very light that I think drywall anchors would hold up fine.
Hi Doug. I actually dont have any point of comparison - this is my first table and lighting setup at home. For about over a year I didnt have proper lighting in the room so when I put this up, it was like WOW for me. I guess the only downside of it is that you cannot control the level of brightness but I have no complains with how it is as is. It’s also like >100% less expensive than the more known Predator lighting I believe.
@@HomePoolTV thanks for the reply. I’ve had a table for 6-7 yrs with poor lighting. Went to a billiard showroom to test cues and was making way more shots and I attribute it to the lighting. As you mention they get expensive so this one is almost too good to believe.
@@douglowry7382 yeah proper lighting definitely helps the condition that tends to improve overall play. If you are shopping for these types of lighting, I would recommend this one if you do not see yourself needing to adjust brightness levels.

The before and after footage is great, especially the ball reflection. Wow what an improvement 👍🏼
How do you like the table? Is that wood plenty durable for home use?

@@CalvinChang911 this one’s 54” from table surface
Are the wall anchors mounted directly to the joist or by ceiling? Looks like not that heavy so it should be fine?

i just purchased one...install seems pretty straight forward. did all your anchor points align with joist beams?
Was it the Predator branded lights that you got or this exact same thing?
Most aligned. There were a couple that didn’t so I had to use wall anchors
@@HomePoolTV I bought the same as yours

@@HomePoolTV how high did you install the light above table?

Any negatives on this light observed yet or wishing you would’ve gone a different direction with light choice?
