Champ is the kind of partner who says some mean things to you and belittles you but at the end of the day is really supportive and wants to help you be better as a person. They just struggle to express things in a way that doesn't come across as rude.
Shuriken and Kunai are both busted on silent, but skipping Snecko and taking Ectoplasm is not something you see every day. Combined with the insane black star start, we're in for a feast
@@undeniablySomeGuy Do you think that they should fix the ectoplasm to: Gain 1 energy per turn, but every gold you gain get divided by half. Boss swap ectoplasm seem irritating to me cause i love money management thou.
@@minhangkhong523 I like this, sure Membership card negates it but Apotheosis "negates" Fusion Hammer and Eternal Feather "negates" Coffee Dripper (as do other healing relics). And removing money from the game feels like such a downer and removes a lot of the fun of the game in a way no other boss relic does.
Completely unrelated , but I just want to tell you Jorbs, that I had a dream today, in which my family and you are playing STS boardgame, which is somehow a 5 way PVP . Than my uncle lose all his game components, after that you start an English class out of frustration, teaching proper spacing between letters. Its very weird, and I want to share this with you because you're in it.

22:41 does anyone know why noxious fumes doesn’t work with kunai/shurikens here? Or why blue key is better than bronze scales at 22:55? I feel like my choices at these types of decision points are where my own runs spiral out of my control
Kunai/Shuriken both activate by playing attacks to increase strength and dexterity. To make Noxious fumes strong you would have to take more poison based cards, which are almost all skills (deadly poison/ bouncing flask/ catalyst etc) so using these cards would mean activating Kunai/Shuriken less. And as poison isn't affected by strength, focusing on poison damage would make Shuriken much less useful. As for Bronze scales, sure it's useful, but with this deck the extra damage it deals is less important than the potential for a relic that would help with defence or card draw to help set up the Str and Dex scaling at the start of battles.
@@Tom-vx7qh on the other hand tho, all it takes is 1 remove to deal with it. And you had decent chance to find at least one shop before the Agony ruins your run.
@@insobyr9779 on the other other hand, he had almost all 1 and 0 cost cards, with only one 3 cost power. His deck was just bad for Snecko at the time. Also you severely underestimate how big of a deal one remove is, that's one less strike remove for the entire run.
@@Tom-vx7qh he ended up with 0 remove from shop later this run by taking ectoplasm tho lol. I'd say 1 Wraith Form is enough to justify snecko there, given that the other two offers were ectoplasm and suzu.
@@insobyr9779 i still disagree, snecko eye wouldve made his deck worse in the short term, and could've easily gotten him killed in the first few floors of act 2, especially if he didnt get the early shop on the map.
40:15 I've watched so many videos of yours, and I have never seen that portal event. My first thought was that you had installed a mod rather than that it was something I'd not seen before. Is it a really rare event, or something that needs certain prereqs to show up? Edit: My guess is that jorbs rarely has the green key before the final campfire, and having that is required for this event to show up.
It's been on the game since the release, and keys didn't existe back then. I've gotten It plenty of times, but it's useless unless you are speedrunning or something
I'm pretty sure its a joke because silent is the worst character at killing act 1 elites. Lagavulin in particular is sometimes completely impossible if with the starter deck + only common card rewards.
It seems unlikely, given spire hasnt received a major update in 2 years. There's no official word on this as of yet, but it seems that they might be making another game? But that tease might have been pointing towards the board game instead.

i dont know and it also drove me insane. scales deals 45 dmg to the heart for each multi attack it does.
