Amir Khusro's work is a rehash of the work of Meera bhai. Her writing stemmed from her bhakti for Krishna. When Amir Khusro who supposedly wrote the lines 'Bahut kathin hai dagar panghat ki ab kya bhar laoon main jamuna se matki' this was Meera bhais sentiment. .it was her poems that were stolen and brought to the Mughal courts. She is supposed to have vanished somewhere when her husband Raj Bhoj and her father in law, Rana Sangha,both died fighting the Mughals. You can figure out what might have happened to her.

When Amir Khusro who supposedly wrote the lines 'Bahut kathin hai dagar panghat ki ab kya bhar laoon main jamuna se matki' this was Meera bhais sentiment. .it was her poems that were stolen and brought to the Mughal courts.
