Okay, they fixed Starlow's personality. She comes off less superior and actually kind of nice with that "I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" line. Nice save on a once despised character, Acquire!
It's not just Showtime! Peach dresses appropriately for racing, tennis, soccer, baseball, and when adventuring she switches costumes with the best of them. I still remember the first time I watched her grab a Fire Flower!
2:21 So, what exactly is Starlow’s true incarnation? If this Star sprite form we know and love is a temporary form, then what does her real 8-headed beauty form look like?
I love how they subtly connect the "spin-off" games together in various ways throughout the series. It really makes you think about how they might all be connected
Yeah... But Nintendo wants her to be a girl boss now. It's not that I'm against girl bosses but I'm against HER being one. We already have Daisy, Pauline, Rosalina, and Toadette as girl bosses. Why make the one that's always been helpless like the rest of the other female characters. Just saying 🤷♂️
@@Pluto5323Cause it’s stale? I love the 4 but the only real “Girlboss” are Daisy and Pauline. Toadette is silly and crafty, Rosalina is a quiet but kind, I wouldn’t call either girlbosses. Peach having multiple outfits is not some girlboss agenda, she simply likes her pink dress a lot. Mario Odyssey gave her tons of outfits that fit her really well.
Not sure if you found this out too or not, but Ecks, Ten, and Shun, literally are the syllables of “Extension” Just a fun fact I thought I’d politely share with you.
Mario odyssey screwed everything up! Glad Nintendo would soon realize that mistake and get Mario and peach back together. That’s why peach is still getting kidnapped often by bowser.
@ But Starlow NEVER had this kind of sound as her speech sfx before. She already had her own unique speech sfx from her very debut. So it's not nostalgic for her to have this basic sfx at all. In fact, I don't think this specific, basic tick sound had _ever_ been used in a Mario & Luigi game before, so nostalgia isn't really a factor here to begin with. And even then, applying it to Starlow, who didn't even appear in the first two games, is really random and weird; you'd think an even older character should have it instead if it was meant to instill nostalgia.
The time Peach actively changed attire to match the task was primarily in Showtime, otherwise Im not sure what they'd be referencing since we really dont see Peach in a lot of other outfits outside of MarioKart and maybe one other game that Im forgetting
@@malgaiOdyssey’s post-game sees her in various different outfits based on the locale she’s visiting. She also has an alternate outfit for Isle Delfino’s intense sun in Sunshine.

Same with Lady Palutena from Kid Icarus. In Smash Ultimate when talking about Bayonetta, Palutena and Viridi mentioned that while angels take many forms, they always secretly have a true form hidden.
Love the double reference to Princess Peach: SHOWTIME and Super Mario Odyssey's post game side quest.

Also, I love the shoes reference from dream team.
About that, she mentioned something at 2:21.
Just who is she really?
It was more specifically Paper Jam where she was considered rude and insulting, which can mostly be blamed on mistranslations
Really, they did that? What a redemption story!
@@PawprintsMaker I actually forget that one. What was the joke in Dream Team?
A Showtime and an Odyssey reference?! Now that’s stylish.

I suspect that's a joke seeing how she laughs about it with Technikki right after she says it
It's been so long since I've seen Starlow...
SAME! It’s been years!
Me too! It's been so lon~hey wait a minute, I'm still mad at her for bullying Luigi 😤
been so long and i still wanna use her as a baseball
Oh yeah... She...🗿

IS NOBODY QUESTIONING THE SHROOB?!!!!! 0:16
What the??!
I believe that it’s one of the reefs that you can find out in the sea
No, believe me, I’m wondering too.
0:15 Shroob structure!
Nice to know Nintendo remembers Partners in Time...
Princess Peach is basically Nintendo's Barbie.
Except prettier!
There should be a lineup called “Nintendo Princess”
Princess Peach she doesn't even look like Barbie lol, Princess Peach she's most beautiful than Barbie
She doesn't look anything like Barbie... I wonder where you got that from... 🤔
No, she's more of Nintendo's Minnie Mouse who looks like a knockoff of Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
Then what is Starlow suppose to really be if her star sprite form is temporary?
4:04 - Mario: "Luigi, stop clapping." 😂
Come on guys were just curious.
Starlow said she is an eight headed beauty of sorts.
But we don’t know what she REALLY looks like.
Princess Peach Is So Iconic She Is Literally The First Princess In The Mario Universe
2:24 Eight-headed? Starlow, what are you? 🤨
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe someone could interpret what her true form theoretically looks like. Not much different from Palutena tbh.
2:03 Love that Dream Team tool reference lol.
The vernation out here thriving
The Vernation idolization
NPC birdo
Yall just a bunch of rats and schemers frfr

She's always changing outfits to match the occasions, even doing sports. In mario kart she even has a biker outfit
