As a 13 year old I would BLAST this song on my mom's stereo when it come on the radio. THE whole neighborhood heard it! Living in the Forest it echoed well! 42 years later..STILL BLASTING the song .

Used to visit a Chili's here in Puerto Rico on Thursdays and they had a cover band playing this, every week. It blew my mind every time I saw them play this song.

THERE WAS A BAND CALLED ORION THE HUNTER WHO WAS MADE FROM THE BAND BOSTON & THEY WOULD PLAY THIS LIVE & I THINK IT MIGHT EVEN BE ON ONE OF THERE ALBUMS ,BY A DIFFERENT NAME ,.

I've had this song in my head since I was 14 when it first came out, couldn't remember any of the lyrics. I was testing an old 8 track tape titled "Nurock" and it had the song "Hollywood", another song I remember way back when but had no idea who sang it. Shooting Star should have picked a more memorable name lol.
Their first two LPs are classics. The following LPs were a bit spotty. Hollywood is on their second LP "Hang On For Your Life". I have it, but unfortunately it was a bad pressing that sounds very static, which why I've done any songs from it on my channel.

Often confused w KANSAS
I had this cassette when it was released and wore it out cruising in my car. Some years later I found it on vinyl and still have it. So many memories.
