Your voice reminds me of Badger in breaking bad lol. This is the only good video of this scope I found so thanks. I'm thinking of buying one. The newer models though, I can't find any used ones and I also dont want troubles like you had. Still loving the scope? I'm new to astronomy and looking to upgrade from my 6 inch dobs for deep sky observation
HA, thanks. Funny thing is, when the show came out, that's the first thing i hear from people. :-). As for the telescope, yes i do still love it and use it a lot. I have not much in the last month or so as we've been under some serious marine layer. It is very versatile, and i would very much recommend a 12". You can easily tell the difference between it, and my 8".

i just got an offer to buy one of these for 650. ive never had a telescope but have always wanted to. is that a good price.
It is a very good telescope. The price is not bad even at $650. (make sure the mirrors are in great condition). A new one goes for about $1000-$1100
