Turkey season hasn't even started in Michigan yet and I'm fired up about that and deer season with the talks of a big THP/Meateater colab. 2 of the biggest names in hunting right now, what could be better
Great series in Georgia! I'm thinking deer drive with THP, Hunting Beast, and Meateater closed up with a Rinella cooking presentation. Would imagine that could be a tough episode to top. Congrats to future Mr. and Mrs. Warb!!!!
Our opening morning was yesterday. When I got to my spot there were birds gobbling in almost every direction, like 320° around. Set up on the closest and had two come to about 100 yards gobbling so hard it was nuts. They hung up on the other side of a privet hedge and never came any closer then worked off. It was so badass to hear the bass in their throat as they gobble. Sometimes that's how it works out though, but it just makes the drive to go harder even greater. Good luck boys hope the season stays successful for all y'all
Awesome channel! My son and I are hunting this coming weekend for opening youth in Indiana. This will be our first ever time hunting turkey! Wish us luck!
Some smart old public land birds you're dealing with there! I've found in hilly country like that sometimes it's better off standing behind a tree instead of sitting. Can give you that extra 10-15 yds you need. Feels odd but it has worked!
Watching these videos gets me real interested in some turkey hunting!! Would love to know how y’all read these ONX maps so easily, with the ridges, ledges and other terrain and how to know where to setup for either turkey or deer hunting, great job fellas!
Y'all need to go up to Jim Shockey's outfitter camps and have a show about you hunting at his camps. My faves are THP, Meat Eater, Brian Call and Randy Newberg. Oh and hunting with Billy Molls is possibly my top goal outside of raising a good family.
Warb getting excited us awesome! I would absolutely love to see a Meateater/THP deer hunt! More specific, I would like to see a hunt and if fortunate enough a cook video. 🦃🦌😁
Went out for youth in Missouri today and we had 4-5 turkeys about 400 yards away. So I tried to sneak up on them while my dad was lookout. But my dumb self forgot to take off my sunglasses! So they spotted my sunglasses and took off. I got into about 100 yards. Would have been my first turkey ever.
Dang good try. Went out this morning and had two strutters but couldn’t get them to come in because they had hens with em. Yesterday sucked and we got rained on all day
Man I have a question for all y’all Turkey hunters. When you finally locate one off about 200 yards or so and he responds a few times do you just sit and wait or try to cut distance first then setup I’m new to this and encountered this today was wondering if patience like deer hunting is the right move
@@NEW_FOCUS_hunts Thanks. Thats what I'm trying to do is put an arrow through one. Season has just opened and have had a couple in just not good enough shot for an arrow.
Experienced gobblers are like experienced hunters, stubborn and tough. If they're gonna survive to 3-4-5 year olds they don't make many mistakes and never twice. Good episode boys.
Awesome Video!! I missed a bird in Texas on Saturday. First time in my life to miss a Turkey. Now I have a full on vengeance against turkeys. No bird is safe. Also going to spend more time patterning and choosing my load to shoot.
Awesome videos men! In NY I seen a Gobbler mating a hen off the highway in a historical hang out. (4/12/21) Lone gobbler with a whole flock of hens. All jacked up ready to go here in NY.
1st and most important lesson when hunting pressured public birds in the south is never set up 150yds from them when u have the option to get in tight to them. Always get in there bubble if at all possible. I have spent hrs crawling through terrain most wouldn't want to even walk through to get tight to turkeys before daylight and it will pay off way more often than not.
I'm starting to think that calling in the evening will bring in a tom, whether he gobbles or not, and he'll roost in the area thinking there's a hen nearby that he can get with the next morning. Happened to me last week. Called in a spot late evening. Went to the other side of the farm came back through a dark and 1 gobbled once roosted right where i was calling from earlier.
Guy's how ya'll like dawson forest the spot were ya'll seen the bird in the field that's a real good spot. I hunt that area alot there's some good birds there.
Last bird I roosted that way flew down and fed for 2 hrs. Gobbled 1 time. All the sudden he broke and ran in after the jake decoy. Second bird I got after a roost in 20 years.
This was two years ago. Sometimes I wonder if they’ve changed things in two years and affected the quality of turkey hunting in the states they post on. My guess is a resounding yes. Doubt you’re doing this in 2024-especially back East.
Nothing gets me more excited then when these guys post..... gets me pumped thanks y’all.
Agree
Nice

I'm all about the collab, definitely do more of that. two of my favorite media sources together in one show!
Nobody gets fired up the way Warb gets fired up for turkeys.
Love that Ben is wearing a Stormy Kromer, way to represent the Mitten state!
We’re a stormy Kromer down here in Louisiana all the time!. Learned about it from my uncle in Wisconsin.

Ayyyy it's Benj! (proud sister moment)
Saving this one for the morning, watching a new hunting public video Monday morning always makes the Monday morning better!
“Roosted is not roasted”.. truer words were never spoken. Another great post!
That's why it's called hunting and not killing. Good job Warb.
