But looking back on the series, they let them play, I think we all like that, blatant flops weren’t rewarded, they let them battle it out, if a rim protector was mostly vertical you had to finish your layups (no bailout fouls), and it felt like the two teams also had immense respect for each other, not much unsportsmanlike conduct. I really enjoyed it, and as a Bron Stan, it was nice to take a year off of playoff stress (no it wasn’t).

What should also be noted is that Curry plays with even more fire when he's angry - the refs blew several calls that should have given him a free throw. What is truly remarkable is that Curry led his team to beat not only the Boston Baked Beans but also with complicit and indifferent and inconsistent ref practice. This game should serve notice to all professional athletes - great players elevate his/her team and when needed CARRY the team. Good players watch greatness go by them.
