      @@Hungnguyen-yl3gp muay thai? Not really. I understand that if you compete in high level you may get injured. But when training you normally wear protections to your shins and your standard gloves. Also when you are sparring you don't shoot your shots at maximum strenght so it's rare to get injured when fighting in your gym. So I don't think it's a dangerous sport.

    Muay Thai with the small gloves is one of my favourite things.

      i’m from flint bro but i live in cbus, OH and train at a really good gym here now, michigan kickboxing academy is really good, that’s in the city, alliance azo is great too but that’s in K Zoo

      Try Dutch KB, there is probably a gym next to you and when you are able to go to a Muay Thai gym it will help you a lot

      They put on the most entertaining fights. I don’t think the UFC wants these guys because they’d run the lower weights in the UFC - especially team lakay.

Don't exactly know how muay thai is scored but I saw fairly close to 50/50 when they exchanged toe to toe (maybe slight edge to Fairtech with accuracy of counters), but Ramazanov was the aggressor the whole fight and dumped Fairtech at least 3 or 4 times (maybe that isn't high scoring (?)). Hard to see how Ramazanov could have legitimately lost, especially unanimously...

    Ramazanov should have won, although I don’t know how the judges are scoring it. In Thai Muay Thai dumps are the highest scored so in theory the Russian should have won.

      I think they went by damage and most hits landed. And if you knock your opponent down and they get a eight count you pretty much automatically win that round.

    I love that each fighter at the end of the match shows love to each other. Muay Thai is different than the top paid UFC fighters with animosity towards their opponent. This is a true “mind and heart” sport. So much respect.

    Man I love Muay Thai. I used to do Tae Kwon Do and a little bit of wrestling in school, my family and the rest of the Latino community LOVES boxing I still think it's dope as fuck because of its technical punching strikes but i always loved to kick. Kicking is so much fun and is great exercise. I love working on my Muay Thai, it brings me a lot of inner peace balance and joy, even though it can be tough sometimes, I still love working on my martial art.

    Man, the Nong'-O fight was so fenomenal and so brutal... Probably he's the best muay thai fighter at the moment in Thailand and in the world..
    Ok, Saenchai is a living legend but now is old.. But that's just my personal opinion.. i'm a big fan of Muangthai, Manachai, Rodtang and Superlek but Nong-O probably is the most complete.. Such a fighter.. and huge respect for his opponent Saemapetch..

    I’ve been a true fan of One Championship since I watched my first one event. This might seem kinda blunt, but if you’ve been a “true” fan of One Championship, you should have already known that there was Muay Thai and Kickboxing from when One Super Series first launched.     I feel like Haggerty out performed Rodtang and was picking him apart but Rodtang got some knock downs and leg sweeps in the later rounds that the judges used to give him the win. The entire fight looked like Haggerty was landing at least double the strikes on Rodtang. I guess that's why the knockout is the only way to solidify a win for sure.

      I agree. Haggerty worked that whole fight and landed most of the time too. The knockdown shouldnt have been the fight decider, I wonder what fight they were watching.

      knockdowns are one of the most interesting parts in muay thai. of course it would be considered of high value. and if you noticed jonathan's hits weren't really effecting rodtang much.

    Top notch fights with world class athletes! These fighters are definitely worthy of people looking upto, they keep their ego in check and leave it all in the cage. Gotta admit i find myself more invested in these fights than other Western banners.

    "Everyone seems to be impressed by the iron man" except that biased commentator. Then that same commentator says that Rodtang has a slight edge...after Rodtang knocks him down and dominates the 4th rd. Glad he wasn't a judge.

      Tbh, the fight was slow for the first three rounds and 4th round was kind of even. Stamp landed more counter shots in the final round. Yes Alma was moving and throwing but if it doesn't land it doesn't score.

    The first fight ramazanov was the agressor the whole fight, its much easier to play defensive than agressive, he also took the other fighter down more and in terms of shots landed it seemed equal but he somehow still lost lol

      Sam A ganó el campeonato en 1 nivel por encima del peso normal. Fue una de las razones por las que luego perdió el campeonato ante Jonathan. Y así llegó el tanque al campeonato. Sam-A ya no debería luchar con este peso que es un nivel más alto que el peso normal

      There are some foreign boxers who allow their opponents to kick the rib cage. to hold the leg and take the opponent down And I've seen one like this who, after being kicked for the 3rd time, he lies down and loses knockout.

    I feel like ramazanov should build some muscle, without muscle your joints etc absorbs alot of the damage, if you want a long carreer then you need the muscle to protect your skeletal system
