- This is totally an original melody by Adam. We are assuming he got the influence from one of many Barney videos he watched since he was little. One thing for sure he was super happy expressing himself in a melody. It's evident that Autism or not, the music language is universal.

Do you know, I used to hand feed my son like you doing but one day I told myself that he has to feed himself because his hands are function perfectly fine, so I put my foot down that he has to pick up the bowl and spoon feed himself and now years later he does it when I put food in front of him. I know Adam can do it.

Assalamualaikum, hi i'm from indonesia, salam kenal Adam's Family, btw I have a son now he is 4 this February 22'. Alhamdulillah, MasyaAllah my son is autistic just like Adam, I just wanted to ask if Adam had a conversation? or express what he feels and does adam understand what people say to him? because my son until now he did not speak

My son also autism, but doctor detect it since he was baby, so doctor said that autism come first from uncomfort stomach, so he gave me list of food that can bear. And when he grow up doctor said that his mental can be fix slowly but sure by treating him normally and let him play with same age with him, the best will be his brother or sister so he will learn how to react properly, it takes a while.. But it helps.. Hard to find school that accept autism kids while normal school is the remedy of him.. I put a shadow teacher of him to cope with everything.. He doesn't like to write so his exam will be in verbal.. Autism kids are very smart and manipulative.. Teach him to take responsibility is very challenging.. Let's say for example, to teach him to pop in the toilet and wash his butt after, I have to record a younger kids while doing it, and show it to him and he will understand that it is save.. He is recording to everything we act and say.. So be careful.. I thought giving him cartoon movie will be good but I was wrong, he learn that hit a person will do no harm, so I stopped it and teach him that it does hurt other people by showing him the bruises.. Everything has to have evident, make video is the best one..

His father said he does feed himself but it gets everywhere, especially in public. So they choose to feed him sometimes.
