I can now play 4k on medium settings with 50-60 constant fps( before i was playing 1080 on medium to get 45-50)

crazy how modern servers are so far behind in the gaming world. games like this and star citizen, even ark ascended are being affected drasticaly by lacking servers
In case of MO2 it is more like lack of testing and shitty programming in general.
There are sudden FPS drops to 10, regardless of the landscape. This results in freezing or lag. It happens more frequently in cities, but suddenly occurs in the jungle near a tower as well, even though the game used to run smoothly there. This wasn't the case before the patch. It's just not enjoyable like this.
This game looks sick!
God, bring VR to this game and it will be one of the reasons to buy VR ))

You act like flipping an entire game to a new updated engine is something they could do over night while producing new content.....shit takes time and the less employees you have the less you should be splitting your team to work on multiple projects. You spread too thin and nothing gets done.

@@ragemeister9634 How else do you expect the game to even stay around if they have 0 means of income ? You buy a house IRL you still have to pay upkeep for things that break around the house. The games had sub turned off for 2 years....with no real income outside of what little new players join.
@@footofgork1I've been suggesting they do a cosmetic item store. Like building skins or furniture items. It would force creativity and result in more content over all.

The update is visually beautiful! But what about the game itself? there are very few creatures on the map, there is nothing for a magician to do, playing alone is suicide, why do archers have an advantage in battle on horseback? Why does a magician lose a charge of magic when maneuvering on a horse, while an archer calmly maneuvers with a drawn bow? This is not correct!
Thats called balance, u see the same type of argument against mounted mages or mages in general when talking to foot fighters
@@MrRjizz I wouldnt call it balance when a mounted archer can hit just as hard as a mage and have 4x the range of any mage spell. It takes way more to be a mage but archer hits just as hard with 1/10th the gold investment. Im sure its no party being a footie against it either, at least you have armor.
i just get on my horse and ride around and look at everything other than that the game is dead and lacks in content F
@@joem1950 so sit on the archer since you are so smart, you will be surprised when the arrows do not fly to the target automatically. And even after a couple of months of practice, you will still lose to any average magician

Game masters do not monitor the dungeons, the administration of the game shares with the offending clans. Even if you warn the gamemaster about the violation, they do nothing to punish the violator. The punishment that comes after 3 days is not a punishment, because the players transfer all the property to another account.

15 people logged in to a forbidden place and the gamemaster did not do anything about it. If you need those who break the rules of the game on a regular basis, then why pretend that you are "punishing" them and "watching them"
So after horible full version launch of this early alpha state build of an old engine demo instead of working on server issues, net code, more sandbox mechanics, more content, u just moved to newest version so you can have access to more libraries of pre made models and make more of shiny trailers to fool new naive audiance. Very smart Swedish scammers. Very smart.

You don't even have to start playing THIS. The developers made a paid subscription for a raw project. The game is empty and unfinished. There's no communication, no balance. But there is impunity for players who kill you almost near the city. Guilds have taken all the favorable places with resources and. dungeons.
And for this I have to pay every month, and not a little!?

Shadows are too bright now, the darker Shadows of UE4 were far more immersive in dungeons or jungles etc... Now the new Lumen sistem Is Great but with this overall brighter landscape It Is not valorized and you can notice hardly the difference. 😒 Make light contrast more visibile. There are sewers tunnels that are bright as they were in open field, some dungeon lost the creepy atmosphere, the torch is useless now.. and so on. There Is no sense of having a better lumen sistem It you snoorh all the contrast between dark and bright.

Dont forget the mounted archers hitting like a truck from a mile out!

I'm playing on a machine with 32 GB Ram and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, game installed on a SSD. The network connection is 1-GBit-cable in-house with 1-Gbit-fiber internet.
And I have many freezes and delayed loaded textures and NPCs.
Worst patch ever! Graphic wise. Content wise the patch is nice.
But finally I can't understand why this patch has been released. I'm changing my review in Steam to negative until the problems are solved.
Game is awesome, no doubt, but honestly looking at this trailer I see no big differences between the current engine (UE4?) and UE5 version, if they fix the performance and give us DLSS3 I'm in
In the stream they showed their performance had gone up from around 70 to 150. If its anywhere near that kind of boost, it should be smooth. The main difference is lighting, not much else. Its a big difference tho.
My personal experience testing it on the PTR (old i7, GTX1080Ti) my average FPS went down from around 120fps to 80fps but it feels a lot more stable / less stutter.
it’s just lighting but there is underlying fixes and additions to improve the game overall with ue5

Finally lol, I remember playing this and at sunset/rise the sky was still bright and any terrain was pitch black. Couldn't see 2 meters ahead. Gameplay warning: you need to grind to max build before leaving tutorial area and anything other than a set of full plate and sword is pointless. Its a shame cuz the concept and art is great, just garbage game design.
Yea sounds like you just gave up on the game the second things got a bit tough for you (its a hardcore mmorpg incase you didn't know). I just started a few weeks ago and none of what you just said is true.

Map is just too big, needs to be smaller than the map on MO 1 but you went bigger.. just feels empty.. Shorten the world make people see each other more often and create some PVP.. I got sick of traveling and just ended up quitting

It's why it's a mmorpg, and not a MOBA. People playing MO2 as an arena game play it dead wrong.

I loved this game when I was playing but I eventually quit when I was getting PK'd every time I tried to enter a city by a road block.. Playing solo isn't the way to go but I'm so anti social as a person that I can't really bring myself to be bound by a clan/guild.

the update actually does things to help in this situation for you. All murderers will be red named and killable in all towns without penalty. Aswell as new zone rules to push pvp to certain areas of the map.
but that’s not to say you still won’t get ganked by rpk guilds, they’ll still probably be everywhere just less common.

@@thediarko and I mean, I'm not 100% against PvP. I played a lot of BDO in the past and at a certain level there's PvP everywhere, so I am accustomed to it.. I like the idea that there's pvp everywhere, however it is a little rough for new players starting out. Glad to hear they've done some things to deter people regardless
