I'd put a distressed jean jacket or vest over that dated a-line bell sleeve sequin dress! Or wear it with Converse Highs or Doc Martens. That would 'cool girlify' it, IMO!
@@emmyyager5993 You're not uncool for liking the dress. You're uncool if you don't recognize that the silhouette is dated. If you know how to style it to make it more modern, then you are 'cool.'. That's Nada's point, here. Older women wearing out of date clothes or out of date styling is what we are trying to avoid.

Thank you for this video because I’m 68 I have a very classic wardrobe and I don’t want it to look boring. I want to be modern I am5”2 and 130 are usually try to buy new accessories like earrings in bags to make it more modern. Also shoes help.😊
I think I finally have a name for my style. I recently wore a silver sequined midi skirt (Amazon )white short sleeve button down top, silver crystal Fendi heels... to work. It was a hit.

I bought a gorgeous pair of black sequined pants from Macys a couple weeks ago. I don’t feel comfortable in a skirt, so the pants fit the bill for me!
