Nice, thanks for that. While Luminar AI can do sky+reflection quickly and is quite a lot of fun, it can produce some odd results. I like the control that you mentioned you have with Affinity Photo. (note I said "you" and not "me"...still learning here 😁)

very nicely done, but is the reflection too bright?

As usual very good. One question, with the update to 1.9 we got some fog/snow "assets". How easy are they to produce and could you do the same as this video using one, but possibly no reflection..

Nice video, but what about that mountain in the middle..? Isn't it too white?

Would using one of the textured masking brushes on the edge of the mountain/sky would be better than a soft brush?

James Ritson of Affinity gave a good tip for improving the selection: on the refine dialog, do not just create a mask, but set the output to 'new layer' or 'new layer with mask'. He says that by doing that, Affinity can do color decontamination, and you will have less problems with halo's.

As usual a great tutorial. Why did you choose to feather from the select menu option and not directly from the refine dialogue box?

Thank you, because I base the feather on how much I grow or shrink the selection :)
