INGREDIENTS:
Potato(आलू) - 1 Kg
Oil(तेल) - For frying
Coriander Powder(धनिया पाउडर) - 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder(हल्दी पाउडर) - 1/2 Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder(कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1/2 Tsp
Crushed Red Chili Powder(कुटी हुई लाल मिर्च) - 1/4 Tsp
Dried Mango Powder(अमचूर पाउडर) - 1/2 Tsp
Salt(नमक) - As per taste
Black Pepper Powder(काली मिर्च पाउडर) - 2-3 Pinch
Roasted Cumin Powder(भुना जीरा पाउडर) - 1/4 Tsp
RECIPE:
firstly, peel the skin of the Potato and cut it in half. Rinse in water to remove excess starch. Now wipe off with a clean towel and deep fry in hot Oil. Stir occasionally, add some Slat & fry on medium flame.
fry until the aloo turns soft from the center and not crisp from the outside. use a toothpick or knife to prick and check. Take out the fried Potato on a plate & cool slightly. Using a bowl, press the fried Potatoes slightly & make sure the Potato size is intact. Drop the Potato into hot Oil for second frying. Fry until the aloo turns golden brown and crisp. Take some Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder, Crushed Red Chili Powder, Dried Mango Powder, Salt, Black Pepper Powder & Roasted Cumin Powder & mix them all well. Now add Masala to the fried aloo & mix gently.
finally, serve the Tasty Aloo Tuk with Dal Chawal or any meal & enjoy it.
