Great information. Good to keep talking about these topics every 3 months on videos since its a great reminder for poeple to nicely tap the shoulder of people from the school that you want to attend. I am asking as a student choosing to enter university. May I ask why the reason at 9:09 will not work for a college admission officer? What if the course (eg.Engineering) the student is choosing is related or relevant to that reason? Of course, the student will have to add more substance than what was mentioned at 9:09 but why would it not work?

How long should you be showing demonstrated interest to a college? If you are applying regular decision to a school for example, is it okay if you just start showing demonstrated interest now or is it too late?
Also, can you show demonstrated interest to a school that you have already applied to and are waiting for the decision on?
