6:13... Make sure middle part is pulled all the way out before you insert the clip, once fully inserted push in middle part of clip...

I've got a 2012 Camry, my cable broke at the interior pull handle. The "dot" came off. I appreciate you making and uploading a video, and have a few requests. 1) The video is about the repair not you, stop pointing the camera at yourself. 2) You describe the interior of the latch but don't show it, a picture is worth a thousand words. 3) I'm old, rapid camera panning makes me want to puke. Please slow it down. I appreciate the view of the trunk without the trim. Please make a video and upload any future repairs.

Hey can u help my trunk latch on driver side is broken . I have a 2012 xle the trunk doesn’t have a key & I can’t pull seats out is there another way to get on the trunk ?

Climb in through the back seats! You should have 60-40 split. Pretty sure that is an included feature on the 2012. :-)
Use your key to open the trunk. The 2012 has a key hole, right above the license plate, right next to the light. You can't see it from above, because its facing the ground. I'm going out to replace my cable today. The ball snapped off the cable, on the other end, at the latch next to my drivers seat. I was hoping to find a video to help me learn how to get the molding and sliver of the rear seat off. This is an awful video 🤣.
