Thank you for the Love & Support ✌
Just got one of these for my dad. Hes older and needs to be closer to me bc of health issues. Unfortunately i have 4 kids and no extra rooms in the house. I also refuse to put him in a nursing home so now my dad camps out in my backyard and he loves it. Thank god i have no HOA 😂
That’s how you do it! ❤ gotta love pops!
Absolutely beautiful that you have your dad there with you .
That's cool buddy
You are such a good son
That’s really nice
I chuckled every time he called that little bed the "master bedroom".
I've been looking to buy one of these to actually live in, tired of paying $1,300 + in rent. And as I told sales Lady, i wish the RV industry would realize it's not the 1970's or 80's still, and that RV's are being utilized by a much wider buyer base than decades ago, and I wish financing would realize this as well.
I mean if you're paying 1,400 rent, why couldn't you afford $150.oo RV payment?
You're always going to need a home.
If I were a salesperson I'd clear the lot, and lobby the banking or loan industry to think in broader terms.
Most people will buy this RV by paying rent this year, think about that.
For real brother!
Your logic is too sound for this day and age, but kudos to you for it.
$138.00 for how many months? 😮 That is insane. The darn thing will besitting in your backyard rotting before you get it paid for.
$0.00 resale value.
The main concern I have is quality , long term how everything holds up , like a house there are allot of things that can go wrong and no one wants to wait a month for service
@@BillO964😅
Perfect for me and my doggie.
América collapse soon, we need this camper for the apocalipse zombie. 😅 I have wife and dog too, no kids. 😊
The best thing to do is just save your money and just pay cash no finance.
Viewed one today, and saleman told me cash price would jump up to 18 gran, after fees and taxes and ect...screw that.
Either the salesman was a snake, or just stupid.
I'd never pay 18 gran for that thing, after viewing it today in person.
Going to call another Camping world center over the phone, and see if they quote me same cash price.
Do u take payments
That's true I heard on a late night radio show (WLW) a while back that The average person will spend 1/2 million dollars in their life for interest alone
10 4 that's what I do I have a credit card but use it only when really needed like renting a motel room or car
This is the key right here. These things cost enough as it is. Fifth wheels can cost more than an actual house! So if you can pay upfront with cash then that would really improve your situation.
If my city would allow it (which they won't), I would park this in my driveway and live in it instead of my house! $138 per month is an amazing price and very easily affordable. Id tear my house down (because it needs a ton of expensive work done) and live in this beautiful new camper in a heartbeat! In fact, where can you park and live in this year round???
now we are talking
RV park or get a portable generator & run it off dat
Wal Mart or Cracker Barrel.
@@chriskelly6559 you def can stay but not for extended periods I’d reasonably assume but there are a lot of Walmarts so maybe it could work.
That's kind of what I want to do...
The way they did the bunk beds, plus dinette for an additional sleeper plus the queen bed in such a small trailer is awesome! I dig the idea of the AC also…the downside in my opinion is the fridge. This seems to be marketed for a family of 4-5 with the amount options for sleepers so I’d think they would add a bigger fridge. I’ve seen 12 volt fridges in the jayco units that are bigger
I was in one today at Camping world.
If parking on own land, you'll need a generator for electricity...but what got me is when salesperson told me cash price would be higher than finance price...something fishy there.
If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Once you finance the $15000, it becomes $30000
I agree with your point, but keep in mind you can always pay cash but most people choose to finance and that convenience has a price.
that's like everything else...and who wants a loan for 15 years?...imagine your children 15 years from now,,.,,and by then this trailer is garbage...but you will have lots of fun camping...
@@albertoacosta6788if you got that much cash on hand, don't you think investing in gold or silver is a better investment than a tin can trailer that will be worth zero in 15 years?...
Or if you pay $15,000 in cash then it costs $15,000😊
Nah, if you have cash, I bet you could lower the cash price....Cash still speaks the loudest.@@kellyoconnor7896
I love it they're going back to the old school style
Just too expensive! These things are so poorly made these days and are asking way too much. That may be worth 10k max! I would go back about 8 to 10 years and buy used. Since 2018-19 the quality has gone way down hill.
Where I'm at now, they've dropped down to around $13,000 (Jax, FL)
These type were $10,000 6 years ago.
I’d buy a Scamp starting at just under this price.
.
Literally just bought one today
Was it still the same price? Thinking of getting one for my son to put up on my property to live in. How would I get rid of the waste products without towing? I have no vehicle to tow. Thanks!
An oven in that spot would be better than the fireplace.
Agree.
Or a diesel heater
Roof will leak in 3 yrs, toilet and sink will need repair in 2 yrs, moldings will peel or fall off from use in 2 yrs, toilet flusher will need replacing in 2 yrs, will need to power wash camper every yr to keep mold off paint job, bottle holder will rust in 3 yrs, thier fun..but alot of upkeep and work.
This is an incredible value for what all you get. Wow
That Bathroom toilet was the Red Flag for me. NO WAY would that coffe can be able to handle my Morning Powerdump !
Lmao
Loose the bunk beds, expand the bathroom.
A Man Can Compromise on many things. But one thing he CANT is his White Porcelain Throne of Relief. Just 1 of my Turds would clog that coffee can toilet, the other 4-5 that follows would have me running out the door and into the bushes
Just use a cassette toilet, much lower maintenance.
looks great 👏🏻
ATTENTION!
Today I went to Camping world, where they had one of these displayed..(there's like two similar models, one has a cheaply built interior, the other has a much finer built interior, as in materials used, you can tell the difference the second you enter both)
(Wish now I had video taped it so could share on my own channel, but I didn't so will share here)
1. The price is still stubbornly stuck at around 13,000 and some change.
2. I asked them, what about cash price, is there a discount with cash?
a. They said no!
b. Not only that, but then told me if I paid cash, after tags, fees, taxes, the price would be more like $18,000 dollars...😮😮...for cash??
3. Hell to the no, would I pay 18,000 dollars for this model, I'd rather get a used class C, ect, or larger used travel trailer.
They must of been either a dumb, or greedy sales person, or maybe they thought I was dumb.
I mean how do you end up adding another 5 gran onto price with tags, fees, taxes, it's not even that high with cars...am I missing something, or were they just a weasel?
4. Bottom line, better to buy one of these slightly used, as in 1-3 years off the lot, than to buy one off the lot, if they do you like the sales person did me at Camping world.
Seems they're more interested in financing you than you paying cash and just being done with them....go figure.
He was full of 💩
Probably so. I'm sure they'd rather have you trapped in interest payments for 20 years.
Where is the ventilation in the kitchen if your cooking on the stove ?like frying ? The whole camper will be smelling like fry food
Been watching for years but had trouble signing in and subscribing with old email. Hope you keep posting!
That heater will sweat you out of that table lol and the back bunks will be cold!
I want this house when I get older
let me know when it costs 5 grand... because thats what its worth.
Only one window that opens??
Its definitely worth $138 a month. All essentials, bed, kitchen, toilet, shower, fridge.
Problem is financing this thing, y’all use the bank as a middle man and at that point this camper went from being 15k to about 38 at cheap then at that point you are already losing money and sitting in a hole.
You can always pay cash, so really it comes down to your financial capacity.. but I do understand & appreciate your point
Pay for it cash rented out as an Airbnb behind your house nothing more than two days that’s when people start to cause damage
@@flexapex9801 who wants to RV in the back of someone's house?
@@inspirationalnomad Plenty of people have them in the south and they use them as guest house or rent them out for travelers so the RV pays for themselves. Remember not Everyone’s income is the same but some people have other Memes of paying for their RVs. You should be happy there still buying RVs what kind of a salesman are you.
@Flex apex I live in the South and I am not a Salesman. Your logic is flawed because people rather pay to stay at a campground then in someone backyard in a camper.
The new 2025 Coleman 17B & 17R Models are now built by Keystone RV's. Huge upgrade in quality for the same price. Upcoming Winter & Spring 2025 RV Show Specials will have the new 2025 Models built by Keystone RV for $11,999 Show Price.
I can’t wait to get my dog and this or something like it
I would rather buy a used camper that’s nicer for that price .
Exactly, bought a 2000 National 🐬 class A for that price in '16, brand new MSRP it was 90k, you can't go wrong if you know what to look for, well built & looks great for it's age, I've put 30k miles on it since going all over the country, best money I ever spent!
I need a chill spot front room area thats comfy!
Screw all the useless beds
U guys are crazy 15000 that’s a steal id buy one a couple years old. Studio apartments run a thousand a month and not as nice
Apartments for 1000/month? Where?
The way rent is going up, this seems like the only thing most people can afford.
Even with one of these, you'll still have to pay monthly lot rent at any RV park. Seems like the best thing - if you can manage it - would be to buy one with cash upfront. Then, put it on land that you already own, with water and electric hookups. Assuming you aren't violating any local zoning codes.
If you could do all that, then you would be golden.
great living space for a good price. However, how much will you have to spend for the truck to pull it? and what kind of gas mileage is that truck going to get? :-\
i like it, never read comments if u like it
Buyer beware
Problem is the quality. Seen thus exact camper brand new at camping world. Still plastic wrap the number of flaws is unbelievable cracked trim and cabinets loose flooring doors that don't close really bad quality
This is very nice ❤ trailer.
There's a major problem with this camper. It has a window unit AC and a lot of RV parks do not allow window units. That may not be problem due to it being built in, but if a park has strict enforcement of their rules, you could find yourself having to pack up and leave.
That is something to consider, but I would say most people who buy this are weekend family campers staying at campgrounds that don't have those restrictions, RV parks and people using this to live in would more be faced with that problem. But you should definitely be aware of your situation before purchasing anything
I had to look up why window units aren’t allowed. It appears it’s because they might fall out. I think the chances of that are slim to me but whatever.
Mostly for older seasonal Park Models at the RV Parks. They don't like when a seasonal adds a window unit to replace the expensive old roof unit. Not so much w/this stock 17' small campground camper w/a manufacturers added A/C.
clintle/ that's the first i ever heard where side ac are not allowed in campgrounds...but what is the reason that wall air is not allowed in campgrounds??...references please ?????
@@sherrcon links can't be shared in comments and even if they were, I'm not doing the research for you. In my personal for long term RV parks in the Oak Ridge, TN area, many of the parks state on their websites, "window AC units are not allowed". Personal experience is the best reference. You can also search "window ac not allowed at rv parks" on google and see for yourself, that is not isolated to Tennessee.
I love those.
I love it 👍🏼
What is the best unit like this, still under 25,000 but can withstand extremely hot temperatures with better insulation, for areas of the Southwest like Phoenix and Las Vegas, that
can exceed over 115 degrees during the day for 50 days between May and September ? (the insulation in this video doesn't look like it can withstand that kind of heat well enough)
It'll be interesting to see how they hold up over time.
You get what you pay for junk things are done fast and cheap ur 90 jayco 32 foot no issues window air leak water on floor if no cond drain installed

Not even worth 10,000. No bang for no buck. No thank you .. I feel sorry for the guy trying to sale this. His voice is saying it all. He's trying
Just get a bigger used one for less
Comfortable weather use range is probably 46F to 86F, at best.
Where do the cats, dogs and chickens stay ? Nothing like taking a dump in your kitchen.
A mobile efficiency.
Would have loved to see windows on each end over the master bed
Window A/C is good but i wish they woodve put it above tha kitchen sink & not above tha bed
I recently lost my home and I'm desperately in need of a place to live; how do I contact you guys? I really need help, and $138/monthly would be nice.
The bathroom floor is going to start rotting after the first shower, there’s no way that shower curtain is going to keep the water in the shower.😢
How about replacing it with a shorter shower curtain that u keep within the tub lip?
There is also something called a mop or towel to sop up any remaining water. Good grief.
Where's the hot water heater located ?
Under the bottom bunk
A stolen water heater???
It's nice I just don't like how there is not many windows... Feels to closed in
138 bucks a month for 25 years...lol...everyone I know who bought campers in the last 15 plus years have had nothing but issues...it'd like buying furniture from the brick! You can be sure its ready for that landfill after a decade....no thanks!
thats a nice one
Omg that would be perfect for me. I should've listened to my gut. I've been married to this man for 20 years. Long enough to know that he was never going to listen to me. (I told him let's buy in 2018- when gorgeous homes in our area were like 100k. Now. They're 500k. Not even kidding, and I did everything to keep my family together which wound up completely backfiring on me. So I have no idea what I'm gonna do. He's yelling at me bc we're served with pre foreclosure papers and he's telling me i didn't give it a chance. WHAT? Who is delusional?!! I said nooooo I did. We failed. We can not afford to live here. Now this is all I can think of. He said well then go. I said fine. I was separated from him while caring for my dad for 6 years. So I think I need to do this. Maybe that's why this is happening but if I wind up on the street I can't see why that would happen. Bc that would be it. I couldn't do it.
What's new with 2024?
I could totally live in it. All I would do is put in a decent mattress. Get rid of the bunk beds and use that as a storage area or something else. And buy for about 13000 dollars, which is possible because the. Msrp. on these things is way exaggerated. Totally could get for 13 grand
WHEN the first thing you think about is "How would I change it to be workable" "Color blind" I guess "Payments" is the sales point. Seriously a cardboard box.
It's just that my last one(wasn't a Coleman) came apart slowly. Made in China I guess.
That's 9 years to pay off, without adding financing costs. $138 monthly for 9 YEARS is 15,000 with financing is probably 24,000 , which means you'll be paying on this camper for 12-15 yrs. What a joke
You can always pay cash and skip the payments.. but most people don't have the cash or don't want to use the cash so they choose payments. That's a choice, and if you choose payments you pay the costs.
12 years at $138/month plus 20% down ($3200)=$23,072 total cash in for what you see.
at $138 a month you could buy 4 trailers with cash and still spend less than what this ones final cost would be when your done paying it off.
What about a 12 or 13 ft model ?????
How is it $138 a month? Is it a 30 year mortgage?
The loan is based on 20% down on a 12 year payment period
@@inspirationalnomad thanks! I was genuinely curious and was scratching my head doing the math. That low per month probably gets a lot of people pulling trailers off the lot without realizing how much they are gonna be paying for the financing. 12 years on a depreciating asset (even a really cool one) is not smart. Cash is king!
Is this available. We’re will I buy. Deliver in the house. Zero downpayment. 20 year payment plan.
Do they have them without the bunk bed?
Reminds me Malcolm in the Middle
"Now we're going to go in the kitchen." 😂 you're in the kirchen, you're in the bedroom two steps here and two steps there
Im consider in Getting ine of these due ro my living situation! Bur im nor gonna park it anywhere im just gonna stay in town and park in the desert for sleeping!
Yep, you gotta get resorceful these days in order to get around or beat the system, cause the system, rent, cost of living, ect, is gobbling all our retirement money up.
I'd rather live in a RV like a road hippie, and have a ton of cash, than live in style and be broke all the time.

For 16000 i can buy a pull trailer 6 x 10 and make my own better than this one and cheaper. Many are doing this now a days. TH-cam videos help alot
Not having a sink in the bathroom is a no go for me. There is no way I would want anyone washing their hands in my kitchen sink after using the facilities. How many surfaces would you touch between the bathroom and the only sink available? Nope, no, thank you. I do like all the sleeping choices and the fireplace, though .
U can lower the shower head to use as a faucet to wash ur hands inside the bathroom.

Lose the bunks. In that space expand the bath and add a wardrobe.
Can I sync RVshare and outdoorsy calendar ?
I did not get to see if this rig was a single axle?
Yes, single.
Is there a heater in those ?
I do like the window ac..dont care so much for bedroom no privacy but ive noticed alot of the campers are doing away with master bedroom
This is an entry level model, if you wanted more privacy and room you would upgrade to a higher end model, it's just like shopping for a house or car (there are base level options and higher options, it's all a matter of budget and personal preference) thousand of different trailers to choose from
There is a reason it called travel size...rooms not suppose to be separate. Same reason it is supa cheap for $16k🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤔🤔🤔
What small trailers have “privacy”? You could buy a smaller better made one, but it will still have an open space.
Where to buy this
A lot of bang for the buck
After you do a number 2 you get to wash your hands in the same sink you prepare your foods because there's no sink in bathroom... Not to bright guys. I'd pay a little more money for a Sink in the bathroom.
Use the shower water to wash your hands.. you are camping, not staying in a luxury resort.. the camping lifestyle embraces untraditional means of living
@inspirationalnom I'd rather not wash my hands where I eat. There's an old saying don't shit where you eat...
@erasedfromgenepool.4845 than you should stay in a house, not go camping.. there's an old saying "don't go camping if you're going to complain about a more primitive way of living"
I agree rather have bathroom sink. Take out the microwave or ac..and fireplace that one blew my mind fireplace but no sink
@delisafarley9170 this model may not be for you then, thousand of other trailer models to choose from. Everyone prefers different options, that's why there are different models
I wish this was available without the bunk beds.
Very nice I like it
Any hook ups outside or storage?
Nothing screams quality like "cheapest on the market" 😂😂😂

i like when these prices say 15999 so 16000 - a dollar lmao
Way too much for such a watered down camper all the appliances are about $1000 and a 16’ flat trailer is about $2000 so these are $13000 walls and ceiling….. no thank you
Does it have independent suspension for off road camping?
Does it look like it has that?
Heat?
Just be careful getting warranty work from camping world is not easy
138 a month at 16000 dam when would you see the payoff😮
I’m thinking 10, maybe 12k max. Very basic, cheap. Campers (and everything else) are way over priced these days. Hard pass.
