I am 11 years old and I follow your channel.I started loving gardening because of you.The video you made how to keep kids busy during lockdown, I watched it several times.I grew tomato in November and now they are mature...Thanks a lot for your videos
I have experienced this with my Crotons. Their growth was stunted when they were kept indoors but once I shifted them out on my balcony, I started seeing new leaves growing and they have been growing much faster since then. I am on 7th cloud seeing my babies grow so well. 🤩🤩
Thank you so much for existing and being the human you are! I enjoy and binge on all your videos. All the information you provide is so helpful and genuine. Your voice is also so soothing. I have so many plants that you have helped me keep alive but also enjoy to propagate and decorate. Thank you for being who you are. I love all your videos. Keep smiling and being amazing! Stay safe lovely!
This is exactly what I experienced during lockdown. I moved all my plants to a balcony and luckily got a friend to water them....the time coincides with monsoon season ..n when I returned in August...there was a jungle in my balcony. Even my green chilli plant got upto a feet less than my height...also there is one more factor... important one...when plants are kept in close vicinity to each other, they grow exceptionally well. Reason my be large plants provide shade to smaller one like succulents or they simply love being social😂
Sometimes over-caring few plants also ruins them. My personal experience, i wasnt there for 2months. Sadly all my potted plants except spider plant and zz plant are dried up, but to my great surprise, i saw a shoot coming from my zz plant, which i did not see for the last one year!
Just seeing you I started my own kitchen garden Inspired from me my whole joint family started their own kitchen garden and flowers and many many other plants Hat's off
These points are so true and valid. Whenever I notice that a plant has stopped growing or not doing well, I move it to my bathroom that gets good amount of sunlight. The humidity is also high inside bathroom and both these factors always works wonders for my dying plants.
You are absolutely right! Humidity is the main factor in indoor plants. Yes, without light the photosynthesis will stop but we can provide artificial LED lights. Some plants I have placed in my bathroom racks where I have provided continuous LED lights and two three buckets full of water. Sometimes I keep running fan for few minutes to circulate the moisture throughout the room. I only use my own bathroom and handling water is less. My wife use her own bathroom. I am also using moss tickets for Hoya. I enjoy the way you narrate. I am a retired chemical engineer and a senior citizen. I am running 76 years. Take care!
I have lots indoor plants! In January I went to vacation for six weeks and I told my husband and kids do not touch my plants don’t even think about watering! When I came home I was chocked they’re so beautiful and waiting for me to water them! I can’t not believe! Amazing
This video is very helpful I had my peace lily full with black tips and no growth. Then I saw your video and pushed my peace lily outdoors then l trimmed all the black leave and then after two days I saw a new leaf coming out this video is very helpful
We had a Syngonium indoors and it wasn't doing well. It was growing very slowly. We moved it outdoors and started misting it daily. The growth was crazy after that. Within a few weeks the plant almost doubled the leaves. Water and Sunlight hack does really work.
Why didn't I find your channel before ? I am trying to container gardening for past 6-7 months and struggling with it. am so happy to see someone so informative well spoken and honest.
Yes actually that happens also in my case , I recently shifted from Chandigarh to mumbai and till now I have kept all my plants in the balcony and just before watching ur video I was watching the growth of my plants as it was beautiful
Hey dear.. really moving your plants to outdoors is the best way bcz last yr my aunt gave me Kalanchoeee but it was not at all budding but growing densely n then wen it has cinpketed a yr i thiught of removing it n plant some another plant but my heart said wait for few more days bcz i cant take away that plant which has densely grown.. so i shifted from indoors to ourdoors keeping in sunlight n letting it be with other plants.. soon i started seeing buds n i was on cloud9... funally my kalanchoee is budding n bloominggg😍😍😍😍 this happened during Christmas ... n the same idea i heard from you today... really it works...
Haha to be precise no human disturbance and nature On its own makes them happy to grow. They have well adaptability of growing on their own with the available nutrients rain water and sun. I have seen them in my own terrace garden growing without my disturbance.
True! That's why I never found a need to fertilize my plants unnecessarily like some TH-camrs suggest! To be honest all the need is sunlight.. be it direct or indirect and there is nothing like completely indoor plant
Very trueeeeeeeee 😀 it happens with my plants as well. After observing this phenomenon for a couple of times, I've started doing it deliberately even if I'm not out of station. & The results have proven me. Not surprised, but fascinated 😁
I like plant since i was of 10 year and after that i forgot to plant saplings but in the lockdown period just i was scrolling videos there i saw your planting video then i remember those days when i was too planting saplings... Thanks ekta mam to let me remember those days... Love you a lot 😘😘
Can someone please appreciate how gorgeous and healthy her hair and skin looks?!😍😍 Absolutely beautiful!! Just like her plants! God bless!! Nazar na lage 😇🙏🏼✨
Hi... This is my experience.... When my rubber plant was indoor it had stopped growing... But when I placed in a half shade place in front of my balcony the results was amazing.... Now I can see new leaves regularly.... Same with jade plant also. Thanks for sharing your experience and creative ideas for gardening
I totally agree with you..recently I moved a few of my plants outside.. earlier they were inside but in the open where they get morning n evening sun(not straight noon sun) they have grown so bushy n healthy..n lots of flowering n fruiting happening..also lots of butterflies and bees are visiting the plants..I am sooo happy to see it all..my lemon tree has turned white with flowers and not even a single flower has dropped..it's sheer bliss❤️❤️❤️
Everytime I go on a vacation I return to see beautifully flowering plants, new leaves everything that I would have waited for days otherwise. I think one reason is also less touching and care. We let them be
This video was amazing.... I started gardening during quarantine because of Garden Up...... And now i have many many plants... Edit: just 2 days and 80likes..... THANKS EVERYONE.... This is the most amount of likes I ever got...

It’s also the humidity from foliage of all plants being together :) In canada when it gets dry in winter they recommend keeping plants all close together. Love your honesty and knowledge! - new subscriber :)
Same experience with my heartleaf philodendron. I bought it as an ‘indoor’ and ‘low light’ plant and kept in indoors for months. It slowly started withering away until I brought it out to my balcony. It has since started growing profusely, making up for all those months of stuntedness.
Hi.. my rubber plant had not grown a new leaf for two months as it was inside.. I had shifted it to the balcony with indirect sunlight.. and voila!! A new leaf in just two days.. very happy plant mom
Yeaaahhhh!!! Same thing happened with my snake plant ! It was kept near a stair case inside and it didn't get enough sun so i generally put my indore plants out for three days once in a month or every 3 weeks and bring them back but ... I left snake plant in my balcony and its still kept there and its been 20 days and i noticed many new leaves coming out... So i think that sun really helped it .. ❤️❤️

Wow your balcony is lovely dear Ekta.Wandering jew & money plants are my favourite plants💜💚.Nature takes care of it by itself.Very true that moisture is very important for indoor plants.
I kept my zz plant and rubber plant indoor, there was no visual growth at all, during my Christmas holidays I had shifted all my plants to the balcony, and asked my neighbour to water it, within a span of 8 days plant had 2 -4 news leaves ,once we return back from our vacation as soon as I entered the house, first l went to balcony to see my plants😊 , whether they doing good or not, I was most happiest person by looking at those tender leaves came out of my plants❤️❤️
