Major Geroux is an excellent presenter, and I enjoy his work. My mother actually visited Hue, Khe Sanh, and Ho Chi Minh City when she was 80, by herself. She brought me back some leftover GI surplus stuff.
Enjoyed the abridged edition of Major Geroux's account of the fighting in Hue as much as I did watching the full length presentation. I wonder if he is a descendant of some famous French Generals in the past?

He is an engaging and knowledgeable speaker. We are very lucky to have studying these urban battles and sharing them with us.
Brad, you knocked-it-out-of-the-park with this one. 🇨🇦
Thanks Oscar!
I am old enough to remember when Tet and Hue were was going on and being shown on US television. How horribly depressing it all was.
I can only imagine. Must have been draining seeing all this going on, especially with friends or loved ones fighting there.

It seems to me, that Vietnam was a war where things like "snafu" and "clusterfûck" were hammered into stone for all time!
@@treadheadpete4770 Definitely a giant mess that saw so many people suffer.
