Your circle painting looks so much like autumnal roses🧡 My Mothers favorite colors. She would have loved a blouse, dress or even curtains looking like your painting.👍
Becky oh thank you so much, I am so glad I painted you’re Mums favourite colours 🍂 I must admit I am so enjoying playing with these colours this Autumn/fall. Keep warm and cosy and have some moments just for you this week. 🍁

Helen 🐈 so lovely to see you. Thank you so much I have been so into fall colours this year. When the time is right have a go it really is relaxing. People have been suggesting oil or lotion on the hands as you do it too. 🐾🩵
I so enjoyed this video. I have been reading about Momigami paper. I like that you didn’t have to add oil. Of course I do love your leaf. Slow stitching is so fun. I appreciate the freedom. Quilting is so exact and I love having a change. Soooo relaxing. 🍁🍂🍁
Linda thank you so much, yes I just wanted to try it this way first without the oil and I am so pleased with it. Yes it really is refreshing to have a change when we are creating. I am making a quilt but am a very beginner and would call it more of a beginners quilt. Have a lovely relaxing and creative week 🧵🩵
Hello dear Janet, isn't it wonderful that there is always something new to try and experiment with🍂. I love how the momigami paper turned out, what a great idea to incorporate fabric and stitch, your leaf looks so lovely in the fabric journal. Sweet Freddie was so peaceful sitting there by your side on the couch, he always reminds me to go gently and to rest, bless him🐾. The bright nasturtiums look so whimsical in the blue willow teapot and also in the garden , I always like having a little peek into your garden, I imagine you will be putting the garden to bed for the Winter now☃❄. Spending a little creative time with you and Freddie has been a 'pocket of peace' for me today...thank-you...💖 🕯
Maria so glad you could spend time with Freddie and myself thank you so much. When he is tired out from getting wet on a walk he curls up so cosy. Isn’t it fun to experiment, have been using gold washi tape today. ✨ Rest well Maria 🫖
@@janetnash I have been stitching tonight with a lovely new gold thread I treated myself to recently, it is called D M C Diamant metallic gold, so nice to hand stitch with✨. I will be keeping you and your dear boys in my thoughts today as they head off on their big adventure💖💖💖
Looks soothing and easy on the hands to stitch through. I discovered last night that I have a paper crimper (thanks, Google!). It was given to me by someone who was de-stashing months ago and I never knew what it was. This gave me yet another idea for it - to use it to crinkle and soften the paper. Seems like the needle and thread would go right through nicely. Thanks, Janet!
Fawn thank you so much, a yes so soothing to create, some have been suggesting to use oil or hand lotion too. Thank you google I looked up paper crimper, have fun experimenting. Such fun to play 🫖🩵🧵

Your esemic writing is sooo cool, love your style. Now I know how to use the gouache paint I have on hand. Your warm velvety roses are just gorgeous. What a nice combination of techniques you've taught us today. I was curious about sealing a gouache painting and came across a recommendation to use Dorland's cold wax medium.
