Oh no! A storm knocked my hive over!

Bees are never fun at night when they are on high alert. Still - when a storm knocks over a beehive, we have to do what needs to be done. North Texas storms and straight line winds can wreak havoc on beehives. And, we had a hive tip over during a particularly amazing lightning storm last week. Thankfully, we were able to put things right and ensure that the colony is still on track as we get ready for next bee season. #beekeeper #beekeeping #bees #angrybees

I had one of my hives knocked over, I'm glad I had two ratchet straps on it.

I wish. :) Crawlers always find vulnerabilities. I got 5 stings. Partly bc I’ve lost weight recently, so the elastic waistband on my jacket was loose. :))
