I did enjoy. The only part I am bummed about is spending money on the posts and cinder blocks. I did something similar'ish, stacking the wood in single rows on pallets, woth air space in between. Unfortunatey, whoever bucked up the trees cut them in random lengths, and it was very difficult to create a stable stack. Most of them fell over after a couple momths. I doo really like your design, and I plan to nearly duplicate it, with as little expenditure as possible. I'm going to sort the pieces by approximate length, and stack only like-length pieces in each section. I also angled my rows to absolutely maximize the amount of sunlight that would hit both sides of each stack.
Great idea! I know the material can seem pretty expensive, but if you're able to get your wood at 16 inches plus or minus an inch I think it would stack alot easier. Even on just pallets
