I really like this! Thank you I need to build a couple of these this week. I know it’s November but I didn’t get my tree cut down until recently. And nothing has been split yet.
@@TKCL Hey Andrew, what kind of edgy material are you talking about? I’d be interested in that as I’m very tall and don’t want to cut my forehead. Thanks!
Exactly, I miss spoke by saying 6 boards. Thus the reason I typed 7 each or 14 boards total (for 2) at the bottom of the screen during the video. I was doing my best to let others know to get 7 boards. Hope it works well for you.
Have you thought about putting a soft edge on the front side of that tin, as low as it is? Maybe some pipe insulation. Might save somebody from having a bad day.
Those edges of the tin are sharp only a matter of time before someone starts bleeding, just score a 1x2 down the middle fill it with strong glue and mount it on that razor edge, or live dangerously with a partial scalping, either/or.
For the rack with a roof, rain doesn’t fall straight down. I would add cuphooks along the top that line up with tarp holes, and cover the 4 sides with a tarp. Then the wood will remain dry.
@@TKCL Until it won't and then there will be a small puddle left that will encourage rust even if the roof is made of a non rust material. No water. . . .no rust. ;-)
You do know that the tin you purchased will give a little, so if you double that center roof support it will give you 1-1/2” fall each way. Keep up the good work and nice river property.
Hello great videos love watching your videos. Great way to keep wood dry. Have you thought about cutting some of the small trees down in the creek where the fire pit is for great fishing area......
Nice setup. Especially since I just moved from Bradenton, FL to North Carolina last summer. I would probably put some 1"x1" trim to mitigate the sharp edges, rather than bending them down.
Hey Andrew, what kind of edging material are you going to use on that metal roof? I’d be interested in that as I’m very tall and don’t want to cut my forehead. Thanks!
I know this is off topic but is your topdon thermal camera still working good after 2 years just wondering I had bought a different one and it was working great for all of about total of three hours and well I just sent it back and was wanting to get another one, the reviews were good on the one I purchased it was a Seek compact the reason I went with it was it’s powered by the phone it doesn’t have to be charged I may have gotten a bad one .
@@TKCL thanks brother I’m so happy for you and your wife having the new property, I used to own a place near blue springs and deer park bottling company

PARABENS TOP 🤩
Nice easy design. If you have some seamers pliers, I would bend back the edge of that tin. Ask me how I know.
I will do the 6’ height since I’m tall.
Perfect timing! I just had a pallet of firewood delivered the other day. I built this wood rack this morning. Another great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Cool! That edge of that strongbarn looks like a good scalp slicing tool. If you had some old water hose.....
I have edging material for tin.

Dang that looks easy to build and so simple 🤔🤔🤔🤔. I can see a diy kit coming up.
Sold at your local Lowes 🤣
Just built this! Great video. One small thing, I needed a 7th board to cut smaller pieces from.

I have rubber edging for it.

I have press on rubber for that edge.
Andrew, a couple of solar powered with infrared capabilities cameras we'll camouflaged would not be a bad idea on that area 👍
I already have some down there with more planned.
Hello Andrew another good video
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice addition to the river property! I like the designs of both, each have their own strengths.
A much needed project for sure.
Lookit you all happy in your little beanie cap, LOL This is your season!
Love winter time!

Good afternoon Andrew, your ideas are fantastic, when you do it, it just turns out better a nice easy moveable set up. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
This is so easy and practical for use!
Nice simple firewood racks. Thanks Andrew
Thanks for watching
Love it. So simple yet very effective. Great idea for my fire pit. Great video.
Glad you liked it!
Excellent video. Glad I saw this.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi, Andrew! It is odd seeing you wearing a jacket and a head covering. Love the firewood rack.
Lol I now. Sadly it's already shorts weather again 😩
Love it! Great ideas
Quick and easy, nice design.
Thank you for watching
Excellent and practical and concise video!!
Glad it was helpful!
I like them both but I agree with you… the rack w/ the tin roof is my preference. Such a simple build, even I could do it! 😅
Very cool. I like the ease of setup.
No digging is always a bonus.
@TKCL as someone who has spent the weekend digging out the water main and sprinkler pipes for repairs... all I can say is Amen!
Awesome!
Cool little project!
Thanks!
WOW! Very easy and very practical build , Andrew! Well done!
Thank you for watching
Nice and easy project👍. The only thing I would change is the location . I should be closer to the fire pit.
Happy wife, happy life.
The only thing I would change to the roof is I would just stack a second 2x4 on one end to make the roof lean to shed water.
Water will run off either way as soon as it makes a small puddle.

Everything you create is great. Your mind must be going a mile a minute.
I don't sleep well 🤣
It's 70 degrees and beautiful here today. No coats for me!!!
It's already warmed up here again as well.
Nice rack! Slip that kayak in and catch us a river bass on the ned rig.
Hello great videos love watching your videos. Great way to keep wood dry. Have you thought about cutting some of the small trees down in the creek where the fire pit is for great fishing area......
GOT PLENTY of fallen trees here in Suwannee Co. Fla. although I don't have a need for firewood I hate to just burn it all up in huge piles
80+ degrees in MN today
I'd worry about slicing my head open with that metal over lapping. put on a pool noodle or pipe insulation?
I have some rubber edging material for tin.
Sharp edge of tin @ head high......might be an issue .
I've got something for that.

Hey brother glad y’all are good after the storm. What were those BT ear buds you recommended?
These are great and currently on $13 if you click the coupon code on Amazon amzn.to/4eJQCe5

Mine is still working fine, but I don't use it often.

Live in Indiana, did this dude just open his video with the phrase, "Cold day in Florida"? What's the temp, 65?
It was 39 that morning, quite chilly anywhere. That IS a cold day for Florida.
is the cabin going to be on stilts? i know alot of the cabins around our rivers are all on stilts incase of flooding
Yes, it has to be in order to get a permit.
I like a lot of you videos, but this a massive overkill. Two landscape timbers @
watch your forehead on that tin
I've got a rubber protector for that edge.
Awesome stand. That will come in handy for you. 🫠
Yes it will
