Ryan, every time I watch your videos, I miss our coaching sessions. But I remind myself how lucky I am to have been coached by you, and I can proudly say I know you.❤

Wow absolute game changer Ryan, always struggled what to do at net when the net players are in the same side! Absolutely brilliant. Yep you are the best tennis coach on the net! I think you could coach the pros seriously! Great work again Ryan 👏

It's great advice for anyone 4.5 and below - just plan on poaching as soon you end up in this setup. I love being at net when this happens, and immediately think I'm going to win the point. That may or may not be true - but it feels like a gift to the net person. It's not until 5.0 that people are really going to try to pass you crosscourt, so there's so much opportunity to poach in these scenarios. And even then, you can see how it played out in this point.

I'm loving these advanced doubles movement and positioning videos. A fun one to try might be when you're playing with a partner with a really weak serve. What are the options? I got nailed three times last night at net but I'm never going to move back so I spent a lot of time trying to think about my options. There weren't a lot of of obvious ones.

The best option is for you to start back at the baseline with the server. Then when it’s appropriate you can move in. When you’re at the net when your partner is hitting weak serves, you’re just a dead duck.

@@2MinuteTennis What about pro mixed? It's extremely rare to see anyone start back.

The UCF team was in the better position to win the point and they screwed it up. That is my favorite set my partner at the baseline in the deuce court w his forehand and me at the net with my forehand volley in the middle we win this set up 90% of the time. I just keep pinching the middle and eventually I will get a ball I can put away or I apply so much pressure the opponent goes for a shot too close to the side line or tries to get past me neither of which will work. If s unusual configuration that doesn’t happen very often unless you design plays to make it happen. To me this gives you the highest chance of success over any other formation
