My father passed away 16 yrs ago this May, however my most fond memory is and will always be riding my first wooden coaster together. I was very young and excited, and he laughed the entire ride. Keep making those memories!

Liz Palmer back row makes them elite. I've been on American Eagle, an intamin dueling woodie, numerous times in the back row. Along with Viper which actually was made by six flags, and I've been in the back row it's an insane coaster that way. Then we have our RMC, with topper track. Goliath. Goliath is easily a #2 coaster in the park, especially in the back row.
What's worse is that they're riding the back of train. For some reason, only wooden roller coasters, you feel every drop when you're riding the back seat of the train

When I first rode on a wooden roller coaster, as I was embracing to feel that gravity pressure on the first drop, as it went down, I literally felt nothing. While it was going down, I was in confusion, and then I have fun lol
@@Ray_Shabaz Well, the center of gravity in the train is the middle row, so taking the first drop as an example, if the middle reaches the top of the lift hill, the front would have already gone a bit downwards as the speed builds up and would not have as extreme forces as the back, which starts to build up speed as it hasn’t even crested the top of the lift hill. This causes the back to experience more negative-gs, in a way of feeling that drop fully.
One way to think about it is that if you're in the back, once the drop starts, the entire weight of the train in front of you is already pulling you down that hill. The top part of the hill is usually where the downward curvature is greatest, so if you've got some speed there, the forces are really going to pop. If you're in front, the rest of the train will be holding you back until you're some distance down the hill. But you might feel more powerful forces in the valleys.
She was trying so hard not to be scared. Lol poor kiddo I hope this didn't ruin her from coasters. I've always LOVED that thrill. Since I was about 6/7 I've been hooked and I'm almost 40 now.
They couldn’t have sat her in a worse position for her first experience of a roller coaster,sitting at the back is the fastest carriage to be in as it goes over the top of the rise it whips the last carriage into the drop. No wonder she was a bit shocked and it might have helped if dad had put his arm round her so she felt secure and safe.

This is Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia. And like you can probably tell in this video, it's one of the roughest wooden coasters in America. It's painfully, laughably fun though
STORY TIME: so once I was at Hershey Park riding wild cat, my first wooden coaster.i think I was 7 or 8. We went on, and on one of the drops, I bumped my head on the bar, and my nose started bleeding. Haven’t gone on it again until I turned 11. Not a good experience for me. Lol
Those drops shook her mentally and physically. I think its best when you ride that you scream at the top of your lungs to release the dark energy out of you. Releasing it now will make you overcome those past traumas you've already faced in your lifetime. It is normal to experience catharsis on this type of ride. Just let your screams out. Let out that inner lion in you. Roar like your life depends on it
she experienced g-force for the first time when she said she can't see. I know what it feels like to see colorful spots and white lights in your vision as your graying out and it is scary, but she is very brave and I don't think I could have done this without getting dragged onto the ride.
@@abraham7414 it means passing out from g force. The air in your lungs gets pushed out due to the gravity compressing your body. No oxygen means passing out. Your going against earths gravity.

I was always told by my mom that I would be scared on rollercoasters and that they would make me sick. For some reason, I believed her, so for a while I didn’t ride on them because I was afraid of being afraid. However, on my first ride, I was like, “what’s the big deal? There are restraints” and then I was hooked by the very first drop. It doesn’t look that way to her though. I think the lift is the scariest part, but she seems to think everything after it is. 😂

In terms of my first ride on a wooden coaster, it was none other than the world famous Coney Island Cyclone! Yup! But I was much older when I rode that and it was love at first ride. That ride had sealed the deal for me and it made wooden coasters an immediate favorite for me.
Omg that was my first real roller coaster. I freaked out in the first drop but by the end I was having a blast, it's definitely not my favorite roller coaster but it's still really fun:)
