Kid wasn't scared per say. There is a clear difference between being scared and being over whelmed and judging by the fact that he was laughing by mid point it is safe to say he was only over whelmed and not scared.Brave little man. :)
this video and the comments section blend together so well! you did a great job as a parent, used a great analogy, so much good things in this video that the like button should be automatic! Fantastic job!
Awesome video. It's a good representation of human emotions how large an impact a parents emotions can have on their kids. Seeing his father having so much fun helped him realize that he was going to be okay.
This was ME 35 years and nearly 100 coasters ago! You have just seen the creation of a new Coaster Freak! Ya just gotta Love this kid! I put this on my favorites months ago. This is what coasting is all about!
Very cute! My first was Space Mountain, DisneyWorld. Not the best way to break into roller coasters, considering its all in the dark, and you can't see what's coming next........ or maybe that was a good thing.....
I don't know how many times I have watched this now. But those expressions are so pure. Just as he goes over the top his neck tightens. then his mouth is wiiiide open. Then the face of 'this is THE scariest thing I have ever done' / face of death. Then after after ''Hold on Buddy'' and a joy-scream he knows he is safe. And then just PURE PURE joy. Precious moment you got there on tape m8 =)
Awwwwwww dude poor kid. I laughed so hard when he first got scared but I legitimately feel bad for him. By the end he's chill hahaha, but wow what a reaction.

Way to go kid! It brings back memories of when I was 7 and my Dad took me on my first woodie at Lincoln Park in Fall River, Mass. Its all down hill {all pun intended} from here pal, keep riding... Rob/Boston
I got sad at first cause I thought he was going to be horrified the entire time, and as funny as that would have been, I'm glad he liked it by the end!
he only didn't like the positive G's, because he was being lifted out of his seat... That was a fear of flying off the coaster... He held his hands up for the negative G's, those are just fun....
OMG im glad he started to like it, lol im a thrill seaker and all i do is ride coasters, i was almost afraid that this kid would never want to ride again, lol but im glad he enjoyed after the first hill. lmaoo
i had mixed feeling threw this vid i was like "Cool congratz kid its your first time on a roller coster hope you enjoy it." then i was like "LOL HAHAHAHA HOHOHOHOHO HEHEHEHEHE" then "ok he enjoyed it thats nice"

Cute kid. Good job, little man.
i don't know why but this made me smile...
that kids face was priceless.
I love this it shows bravery and pride in your son.
i feel terrible laughing at that, but he was so legitimately terrified that his life was going to end. that's hilarious
I love the turn from terror to joy. Excellent
aehahahehaa the kid lost control of all coherent thoughts, its like his brain went into "freak out mode".

You've not ridden a coaster until you've ridden a coast at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.
poor kid, the g-forces overwhelm him at the start of it 1:01
1:20 change of emotions, THE BEST!
