YOU ACTUALLY USED A BUCKET ??!?!?! Omg I completely lost it at that point. Great Work. Looks good. This help me so much with my own helmet. Was a bit lost with the templates on my own. Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome video. This is a great companion to your “how to” thread on the Mercs forum. I’m wondering what other stuff I will learn? Can’t wait for the next video.
If the Force wills it, then in the spring I should be able to follow on this path, as you have shown "Te Way". Though I do agree with the use of "card stock" for printing/working with on the pattern - as I work in a book bindery, that is easy for me to acquire. The Suggestions for Goo Gone & WD-40 I have used aw well, though you already commented on that in another video in this series, of which I may comment on. So until this Winter ends so work can begin, supplies for this and a project that follows "Te way be Tarre Vizsla, te Mand'alor" NOTE: Anything in " " is in course/rough Mando via FunTranslations.com. Now, all I need is a Mandalorian Font set and I can write my own chain-code!
@@TheBeardedMando awesome I ways want to make a Mandalorian costume for like 6 years now and finally I'm in the process of making it mean while my bestfriend is making a Jedi smuggler costume.
I don't think that epoxy would saturate the cloth. The fiberglass resin and cloth are there to provide a foundation for the bondo that comes later (Part 6).
Finally someone who Puts the Templates in the discription thankx soooo much
And finally someone who didn't worked with a 3d printer. (My english is Not so good i'm from Germany xD)
Templates straight from the source at The Dented Helmet. WOF did an outstanding job on them and they have stood the test of time.
It's not that I don't like 3d printers (I don't even have one yet...) I just love getting in there with my hands and seeing what happens.
@@TheBeardedMando I don't even have one too so i'm Lucky to find someone who didn't use one
@@aliceongaro3273 Yeah same, its really hard to find a helmet tutorial without a 3d printer
it's finally here. the first of many mandalorian cosplay tutorials. enjoy.

Glad I could help!
1:40 peanut butter works great to get residue off from stickers. slap it on and let it sit for a day and then wash it off...works like a charm
Lighter fluid can remove the sticky stuff usually.
Ya, I have used that in the past. It's just not something I had on hand at the time.
@@TheBeardedMando next time, I find that some mineral spirits works wonders

thank you so much! part 2 is in production.
Great step-by-step instructions. Thanks for posting!
You bet! already started filming Part 2
Great video Rick!! Goo Gone or WD40 work pretty well with removing adhesive residue. Just rinse well with dish soap.
Thanks for the tip! I will try that next time.
A multi tool would really help with the sanding and cutting (safer too)

Can a hard hat work with build instead of a bicycle helmet
Absolutely. the helmet in the thumbnail for this video was made using a hard hat.
@@TheBeardedMando awesome I ways want to make a Mandalorian costume for like 6 years now and finally I'm in the process of making it mean while my bestfriend is making a Jedi smuggler costume.
Keep an eye on that smuggler, they have been known to have bounties put on their heads.........
Rubbing alcohol will remove the sticker residue super easy.
The way, this is
would epoxy work instead of fiberglass resin?

@@TheBeardedMando awesome, ty so much. Also, ty for answering my question on the forum, helmet vs hard hat.
My only complaint.. is that all the sound came out of one ear... Idk why.. and it was only this video :c Otherwise I loved it!
Thank you 😁. noy sure about the audio, it was my first video. Still working things out even in later videos.
The cut proof glove goes on the hand without the blade 😂🤣😳😂FOOL!🤣🤣🤣
