First competition was awesome. I learned a lot and I am excited to do more. I have a lot to work on and hopefully next competition I can reduce my times some more and improve. Sawyer county wood chop is a great show and I met some great people. A thanks to Mytimbersportjourney for catching film for me!

So.. you just can't hit the wood before the word GO. I just really didn't want to DQ at my first competition and was slow to start... so he is doing it right, I'm just not timing things as well as the other competitors.

Your cuts are very neatly done. Accuracy great. Now work on the speed.

      Thanks, @williefick
I definitely need to work on my speed. I'm looking forward to figuring out how to tempo up and getting my power to translate into a faster rhythm.

We are having a cold and wet winter. Best time to watch and catch up on timber stuff. Only to realize you and Matt Baugh most probably know each other since you were both at the Timber sport event. You should make videos together.

We actually do know each other haha met via the cordwood challenge. We talked a bunch during the Sawyer show too. Idk why we forgot to do some video together there. He filmed my disciplines for me. And I would enjoy doing some chopping/sawing videos with him, we're like 8 hours drive from each other though, so not the closest. He is kinda close to one of my relatives though, so I do have an excuse to get down in his area, just need to make the plan haha
