405 for 15 is unbelievable
It is. So we'd have to see it or it's just more BBers lying lol
@@erich7662theres videos of him benching 5 plates, shoulder pressing like 4 plates and curling 100 pounds
@@erich7662video of him doing 405 for 12 easily even after being fatigued from flat bench.
Kevin Levrone isn’t a liar I can promise you that. Bros a devoted Christian plus do yall not remember that Tom Platz could squat 525 for 23 or Ronnie Coleman squatting 800. It might be unbelievable but if he’s training like a powerlifter than he will get power lifting numbers
@sandanpaddack8789 Christianity is important. Lying def bad but its common to bodybuilders - blame that on Reeves and Arnold among others. But there is video of Platz & Coleman.
500 incline. Love the way he trained for aesthetics. Levrone was the real deal. Close grip bench and curls were sick too.
"that was it for my chest workout". The fkk more do you need??
Right😂
225 warmup wow, I only wish
Yeah, keep wishing.
You will always be small
@@courthogan3140 Carma from being negative
Get to work junior
Remember he wasnt born at did this weight from the beginning. He built the muscle tissue with 15 reps and increased the weight over time. Whats impressive is he actually has muscles to lift that much weight he has not trained like a powerlifter with 2 or 3 reps which "only" has CNS strength. Same thing with Ronnie
I love how he prefers lower reps for compounds, unlike practically every other pro. This likely gave him his signature dense, hard look.
Most of the Best did that - Mentzer, Dorian, Ronnie...
He has some massive shoulder and triceps.
His training was hardcore, but it's also helpful to know that it did result in injuries
Most of Them all trained Like Shit best example Markus Rühl…or as a better example Denis Wolf
He says, "that's it for my chest workout," like it's nothing...The Maryland Muscle Machine...man, what a competitor!
Kevin is definitely top 5 in my book, especially in the 90s era.
Dorian Yates did say Kevin was extremely strong. Now, l know what he meant!
Beast mode,live this guy
Sempre foi o melhor físico !
Power...
Dayum son
Levrone one of the best ever and obviously strong AF 🤛
Jay Cutler is bigger than him but he's struggling doing +400 bench
Yup, everyone's genetics are different.
Jay always did high reps though. Kevin loved doing heavy weights on bench
Jay didn't look as powerful, but he looked "stronger" overall/broader and more massive. Levrone had that explosive look, backed up by his strength and athleticism. Jay had had more of a farmboy/bouncer look.
In the year 2000 at the long Beach's Golds gym Cutler told me himself that he can do 550 on the incline. TREN moment I guess....... And I don't know if it is true, but I heard that Levrone tore his pec late 1992 during his 2nd rep of a 600lb bench.
Crazy how strong he was,and how small he got once he got off the gear
Stopped eating to be 240-250lbs. Hyper responder too. Only took him 16ish weeks to prepare for the Olympia. I agree with what you're saying tho
He was still in Better shape than 90% of guys
He's a freak of nature. He didn't need large amounts of gear to get Big. And, like just stated, he was only around 250 doing those poundages. Off gear he was still well over 200.
Hater!
He was a genetic freak. He didn't even train in the off-season and grew into the show.
Excellent Delts and triceps but lacked thickness in the pecs despite the massive weights he used.
Insane
This joker here is strong as an ox DAMN!!!
Strong mofo
What interview is this from?
I don’t waste my time warming up with 40s before I go to 60s. I might do a few reps to get the feel but the idea is to lift as hard as you can, not pace yourself with lighter shit. It takes up time and energy.
He's already warmed up on the flat bench though .Still, 225 warmup he's a tank.
So 2 mins to warm up your muscles and tendons to prevent injury is a "waste of time?" What a fucking clown dude. 60s are bitch weight anyway, so that's nothing to be bragging about.
🏴🏋️🏋️🏋️🏴
Wow, amazing 👋👋👋
What about the other workouts anyone got those videos
Warm up with 225 💀 💀 💀
He only needed one excerise for tris. Crazy genetics
He was a uncrowned Mr Olympia got robbed twice should have won at least two
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️
WOW!!!!
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤️💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Damn
Warm up with 225😳😆
What in the world .. omg
That simple
All natty too
Kevin it didn’t matter how you worked out bro. You woulda responded to picking up potatoes 🥔 for Christ sake quit messing with these young dudes heads thinking that lifting like a powerlifter is gonna make you look good lol
Ain’t no way he’s repping out on 500 on bench. 😂
He’s one of my favorites but cmon! 😂🤦🏻♂️
Pretty sure he does it on video.
Gotta love those steroids.
For sure, but guys in those days loved and talked about the he training portion too. Wasn't so much just about size (drug regimine and "science") as it is today, but what you could do in the gym.
So only 1 set on flat and incline press?
Some working sets are just to lubricate joints and bring blood flow in
@Mantastic-ho3vm But he goes to failure only on the last set, so that's the only one that counts
He would never do all that without all that juice😂
And no powerlifter would either...everyone that can bench over 600lbs uses gear.
@@curtharakaly4620 Yeah they need help🤣
No wonder his chest sucked, look at the crossovers. COMPLETELY delt dominant. Not emphazing pec fibers @ all wtf
Yea it's amazing what you do on the steroids itnt it.
The power of roids.
