Great instructions, ladies! I especially liked that you pointed out the different bias edges and how to join which sides of the triangles to the white/ivory/cream contrast strips. As a bonus, you showed us two different ways to square up the blocks. You demonstrated the instructions so well with Joanna, the designer as teacher and Kimberly as the student, graciously adding her comments as a fellow designer and quilter. It was very pleasant to watch and learn from. Thank you!
Thank you both for a wonderful tutorial. Love this block! As someone previously mentioned I esp liked your instructions on squaring up a large block. I haven't seen this explained before and is very valuable!
Kimberly your blouse is adorable and your looking exceptionally beautiful here. Your such a classy lady I enjoy how structured you are I’m analytical thinker too . Blessings to you and yours . Joann your very talented love your color palettes and patterns . Spring from Nashville
I love this pattern Joanna! It's really neat. I think this tutorial for it was great, also. I really enjoy both of you and I think I could make this block nicely once I bought the pattern. Thanks!
Great video! Thank you for showing how JoAnna trims up a big block!! I've been looking for ways on how to trim the bigger blocks, especially since I can't afford to have a "square-up" ruler in every size imaginable- though I wish I could!
I wish you would show us how to cut all these pieces from the actual layer cake because I'm a newbie beginner sewer and need to see how you cut all those pieces from just one piece? Please show us how to measure and cut it
Where do you get the measurements; i.e. what size did you cut the square that you had to make into 4 tiangles? how long is eah rectangle? and what is size of small squares?
+Bette Dolaher This is just a tutorial for the assembly of the Crosscheck block. If you want to make it, you will need to purchase the pattern here: www.fatquartershop.com/crosscheck-quilt-pattern
Wonderful tutorial, love all your instruction tutorials Kimberly and Joanna is one of my favorite guest hosts, you both explain each step so clearly it is a joy to watch. Thank you
+sar yñiguez El costo de la pauta es $ 9.48 . Para obtener más información acerca de los costos de envío , por favor visita la página de políticas: www.fatquartershop.com/shipping-and-policies/
I wish you would show us how to cut these as I'm a newbie beginner sewer. Please don't assume that everyone watching knows how to cut fabric. I'm a visual learner. Thanks.

In order to create short videos, we tend to omit the cutting and move right into the assembly. We appreciate your suggestion.

+Fat Quarter Shop ok, y mandan a Argentina? Sabe de cuánto es el costo?

Is there a PDF version of the pattern????
+Mindy Gooding There is actually only a paper version of the pattern here: www.fatquartershop.com/crosscheck-quilt-pattern Sorry about the confusion.
Omnigrid makes a 16.5 inch square ruler that would work beautifully for this block.
Only thing I liked was the fabric colors. I wouldn't even try to make this block too complicated for a newbie beginner!
Fab!
