I feel bad for gooseworx honestly. They're being doxxed and have to constantly rear in not only creeps making weird ass content but also their own fandom being jerks to other people. You can see the passion that has been put into this series and the love the creator has for it, it must be such a let down to have to deal with this.

@@user-ed8yj9kr6g I feel like toxicity does not come from how big a comunity is (as most think), I have a theory that a fandom’s toxicity depends on how fast the thing is quest gets popular. Like how undertale is very toxic but it also boomed in popularity very fast. Hollow knight is a less toxic fandom (there is a still toxicity) but it has a decent sized fan size and recognition that only got popular as at first it was over shadowed by works like Cuphead (both released around 2017)
What make the whole comic dub about Pomni’s kitty funnier is that, according to the Fandom wiki, none of the characters have genitals.
Yeah, Ragatha is literally a stuffed doll, Zooble is shapes and ain't wearing clothes, Gangle is just ribbons with drama masks, and Kinger is a chess piece. Would be weird if they had stuff. But this content can just say it's an AU. Jeez.
It makes sense as the characters are literal 3D models in-universe - areas that aren't seen usually just straight-up don't exist (hence with many first-person view games your character may have a body model but no head), and this is especially true for areas covered by clothing.
I actually went through the effort of finding and reading the comic. Apparently Jax in it found out how to get naked and apparently it hurts??? Yes it's very nsfw.

And literally every time I see a video discussing content farm trash or Elsagate content related to Digital Circus, I'm genuinely surprised Glitch Productions, the close relative of the SMG4 animation channel, hasn't cracked down on any of these people for copyright infringement.

Not gonna lie, I just found out Cougar Macdowall was a content farm. As soon as Uh Yeah mentioned him I went to check their channel because I almost didn’t believe it.
I haven't seen much of their content since their old godzilla king of the monsters comic dubs from like 4 years ago. I had still seen some of their older content pop up from time to time, but it was just like steven universe stuff or fnaf stuff that wasn’t sexualized to shit.

I was a bit of an ipad kid, TH-cam content farms have always done these fetish videos, I remember seeing Minecraft and sonic inflation and vore, but I was like 5 so I didn't know and just thought it was funny videos, I LITERALLY FOUND MY LITTLE BROTHERS AMY INFLATION DRAWING HE MADE BACK THEN IN AN OLD SKETCHBOOK, I'm 15 now so I can't believe these have been going on for over a decade with nothing done about it

When you mentioned Cougar Mavdowall VA, I thought i'd come down in the comments to say he didn't always make videos like this. He used to make comic dubs of this funny Godzilla comic and he used to do actually good and memorable comics, but the content farm must have gotten to him. It's sad, as he used to be a really great dubber, and his videos were extremely loved, but youtube changes, and I can definitely say his old fans are not impressed by this change.
I'm going to be honest, I genuinely didn't know that TH-cam supported 360 videos. I assumed that was some weird experiment that they discontinued years ago.

It's sad to see The Amazing Digital Circus being treated this way. The thing is, the show isn't even made for kids. The producers of the show, Glitch Productions, stated that they make shows for an older teen to young adult audience. Unfortunately, the same kind of stuff happened to Glitch's other show, Murder Drones in which is directed by Liam Vickers. It was especially sad for me to see this happen to Murder Drones because I have been a fan of the show for about a year now.
I understand you. It just hurts to see something that good being treated like brainless Shit for Toddlers that everyone feels the Need to ruin and they don't even put proper Work in it but use a Art Style that is as disgusting as possible (mostly talking about the Animations)
Of course it's gonna attract a lot of children, despite it being for teens and adults. It's still gonna attract kids no matter what, simply because of it's art style. It's characters are all goofy looking and have wacky designs. And the show has bright colours and toys so of course content farms are gonna milk it dry.
Kids like to watch mature things that older teens and adults like because it makes them feel mature. even though they are kids.

I used to watch Cougar for a long time, and there’s a lot to him, so here’s a timeline of events I remember off the top my head:
I discovered his channel back in 2020 when he was making family friendly content, mainly Godzilla and Dinosaur related comics. That’s actually how I discovered Godzilla, which now became my favourite thing ever. Anyways, I’m quite sure he knew back then that he had a young audience, who in some way discovered Godzilla through the 2019 movie “Godzilla II: King of the Monsters” so that was his main thing. He seemed like a cool guy, doing fun little projects for a not that popular fandom. Most of the comics that he featured were from the same few people he seemed to be friends with, and among them are my top 2 favourite artists in the Godzilla community, with the rest being high on the list too. I think he had two other people helping him with the voice acting, one person named Sky, who mainly played Mothra, and the other named Mike, who played Rodan. He would upload comics daily, he made a few Godzilla raps, and later on he started working on a Godzilla puppet show that ended up being just a reaction thing. He commissioned(?) a comic series named Biollante vs Ghidorah or something like that, which was the whole reason I stayed a follower of his has long as I did. In the beginning it took a month for that series to get another episode, which then increased through 5 months up to over a year. I memorised his upload schedule, and would stay up every night until he uploaded. That changed when Among us got popular. For a long time all he uploaded was Among us, and I stopped watching him for around a month or two. Then he returned to Godzilla and so did I. For a while things seemed back to be normal. In what order did things happen from then on my not sure, but basically he had another person join the regular voice actors: Jelzy. She also voiced Mothra in some comics, which I was not too happy about, I really liked Sky. I don’t know what caused what, but Jelzy started voicing Mothra more often, and Sky eventually left. I was really bummed out by that one. Around the same time as Jelzy showed up FNF became popular. You could see FNF became another big thing on his channel, he voiced an official character too, I think. And slowly with/after the introduction of Jelzy and FNF, his content became less SFW. But it started seriously going downhill with FNAF Security Breach. And again, I’m pretty sure he was aware he had a young audience. So yes, I was not happy with it, I’ve never been a big fan of all that sexual stuff, never understood why people had to make such a big deal about it. He promised he would finish the Bio vs Ghido series several times, and I was really hopeful about it, but it never came. The artist, who drew the comic, took a break from the Godzilla fandom for a long time, but I still stayed there, bc I HATE not being able to finish a story. At some point Mike left too, and after that I gave up. He did start making Godzilla content again, but that’s all sexual too.
It’s really just sad to see what his channel has become, to me at least. I have a lot of nostalgic memories tied to that part of my life, discovering Godzilla for the first time during quarantine. Now the seemingly nice people in the fandom were replaced by toxic *ssholes who are constantly complaining, my OTP suddenly went for being really popular to being really hated, and the animatics, mini series made by one, not so talented but very passionate artist, or just even the semi-enjoyable, cringy, crappy vines, gacha stuff and texting romance stories (yes, I did enjoy those too, I know, I was cringe, leave me alone) on TH-cam have been replaced by porn, which are often made by minors too. And that last seven or so things I mentioned can be tied back to him, he was just that influential in the community. He genuinely used to my favourite creator on the platform, and it’s just such a bummer that now all that comes to my mind when hearing about his channel, are those old, happy, nostalgic memories, that quickly turn into depressive thoughts about how this franchise that means so much to me became way less welcoming and started bringing less and less joy, mainly because of the people in it.
I’m sorry if I made a mistake or something is incomprehensible, English is not my first language, and I did go back and forth adding this that I randomly remembered. Also sorry for making it so long, as you can guess, this is an important(that’s not the right word but idk what is) topic for me. Any other old Cougar fans, feel free to correct me if I got something wrong.
I feel awful for Gooseworx. Its a worst nightmare for any actual upstanding creator and then some. It makes me worry for MY ocs and creations if I ever make a show and it takes off.

I'm not against NSFW content and feel that people shouldn't be either cause every fandom has it. However, when it comes to a public media platform that's free to use and easily accessible to kids and being funneled into their faces is when it's actually an issue. And you know no one is monitoring their kids let alone TH-cam monitoring content kids would look at or immediately click on.
Like I don't find it surprising or shocking that adult rated content (like the comics) has made it to YT, but I find it more disappointing. Kids shouldn't have to be exposed to that content or manipulated for someone's channel views and likes. It's become so easy to see and be exposed to it too and aside from kids, there's a lot of other people that don't want to see that content either.

ah yes, bring M+D into the mix with TADC as if this wasn’t bad enough. while bonbon and chuchu have special places in my hearts (mainly because i’ve used both of the mimes in my funnies) that is horrendous if you do it for other purposes. M+D is SURROUNDED by meme culture and derpix even accepted the fact it blew up as a meme. in TADC’s case, it’s literally all unwanted elsagate or sexual context. gooseworks wants it to stop instead of trying to bring light and spread awareness. while i don’t know how casting this off and throwing a tantrum does it (that was a joke), certainly other videos are helping. whether it be from the small youtubers or big youtubers; this needs to stop.

After being in multiple fandoms for so long I've honestly never seen something like this before (other than the welcome home fandom), many fandoms get something very perverted at some point but because of content farms these aspects of fandoms get popular and ending up with a completely different meaning and audience rather than being what it was originally supposed to be

Fun fact: I knew Cougar Macdowall before he was falling into... whatever state he is now. Back then, his comic dub content was pretty straightforward, and I mostly came for him due to the fact he was the voice actor of Vs. Tabi, a Friday Night Funkin mod I loved a lot (back before the exemania period that disgusted me a lot from fnf mods). Here, some of the comics were just Tabi chilling with some other OCs like AGOTI and sometimes Ruv and... it's pretty straightforward. Sometimes he'd get to talk to Nikusa, and it was funny.
But then, there came a period, where Cougar just posted more and more content about Nikusa and Tabi being together, and that's when it devolved into "Friday Night Funkin the Harem Anime", where most of the comics were just Tabi getting teased in 10000 times by Nikusa, Ayana, Midnight, Sakuroma, any other FNF girls... and it ended up being just a kink pain train really fast. Although I will give props to Cougar Macdowall for making that one comic dub where Sakuroma was arguing against Nikusa... this very piece of media is the one thing where the character had the most personality in her entire career as a character from a Friday Night Funkin Mod.
It saddens me because it just feels like looking at someone who used to make something interesting then devolving into foulness, kinda like seeing a movie star you used to love slowly ruining themselves with alcohol. And what's left of him? Soulless content farm.

It's so sad that tadc got eradicated by content farms... I used to like it, was a breathe of fresh air in animation.

Can I just say how glad I am to see Gooseworx finally create a wildly successful series. I’ve been following her channel for years now from when she made Undertale covers haha, so it’s awesome seeing her talent be recognised by a large audience.

i feel like youtube can partially take the blame for this generation with kids having access to this stuff. whether its for 13+ only its still concerning to be that soft and fully allow and be fine with kids as young as 13 see this stuff, and they already know that the kids arent gonna just say theyre 18 or 13 or whatever when they can be a 7 year old now with access to this stuff and its showing them disturbing criminal-worthy videos and animations like these. youtube is getting way too soft with the age restrictions and what can and cant go through all because they wants more people on here and more money being made. the parents just hand their kid their phone or throw an ipad in their face and just let them go crazy because they already trust these sites yet theyve got no idea what their child is able to look at. this is a perfect reason on why this generation is absolutely doomed.
these kids were born in a time where everyone was on electronics and their devices and had phones and stuff already and their parents hand them one when they get tired of raising them or find it too stressful and think itll be a better solution than having to actually raise their kid. even if they wanted maybe a 1 or 2 hour break from having to take care of their child after a long day of work, it still does so much to these kids brains and its even worse because their minds are still growing and now when they're older theyll be so dumb and brainwashed they dont know anything except how to find things like this all over the internet. i feel like the world is ending and we're just all watching it happen

I'm from Russia and accepted a vacancy to draw previews for the channel. I was given a test task, but when I found out what to draw and who, I decided to follow the link and there was a HuluWulu channel. So I suspect that such channels simply recruit random people from all over the world. I think once there was even a toon burger channel, at least the style is similar.
The main task in these vacancies is to strictly follow the style.
If you make a show with a sad or shy female lead, some people will connect with her personality, especially if she's well written...
