Hi Ruth, great videos. I have a question, i have a .PSD with an action applied that i no longer have. Is there a way to extract the action from the .psd photo into a new action? Thanks
Thank you. I don't think there's a way to extract the action per se from a photo if you can no longer see the action history, but if the action is made of various adjustment layers and you haven't flattened your image, you can go into each adjustment layer, note all the settings and copy them to re-create/re-record the action. If there's any behind-the-scenes settings going on in your action, I don't think you'll be able to recover that information, but by looking at the adjustment layers you may be able to recreate something close. It might be possible to export as a LUT depending on what type of adjustment layers there are. I'm not aware that there's a way to save action steps retrospectively on PS. When I create actions, I record as I do them.
So beautiful! Love your videos!
Thank you so much
