Quarantine Photoshoot at Home - Lockdown Photography!

- Hey guys! So I was getting so frustrated with not being able to shoot during lockdown so I finally plucked up courage to ask my lodger Jeni if she would be willing to model for me! Very lucky for me, she agreed and was willing to pose in a dress in my garden in February!

As it's lockdown, we did a quarantine photoshoot at home. I was looking for an interesting location and we're currently renovating our kitchen so I thought it would be quirky to shoot Jeni in the demolished kitchen for an urbex vibe! It's definitely not the ideal urbex location, but I like to try things out of my comfort zone and I like the results we got. We also went into the garden for a different look and one which is more in keeping with my usual style. My garden is normally quite a nice place to shoot, but at the moment it's February, very bare and we haven't tidied the garden for a while! We were therefore a bit limited for places to shoot, but it's lockdown and we needed to work with what we had! I put a few berry garlands which I bought from The Range on the tree and used some fabric throughout this shoot to add some more volume and length to the red dress.
Heavenly Headdress Hire very kindly sent me some beautiful headdresses to use for this lockdown photoshoot at home. They are gorgeous, so if you're looking for a bespoke headdress or would like to hire a headdress for a shoot, do get in touch with Sharon (her link is below).
This is the first time I've tried to do a BTS video, so I'll aim to improve the quality in future, but hope you can enjoy it!

The location was a nice contrast to the model!
Red and green work well together in colour theory, albeit it can look a bit Christmassy!
