I remember this Channel 5 News from back in the day. When it was still a very new channel! I was only about 6/7 at the time, but the nostalgia is unreal! And Kirsty Young changed the way newsreaders presented the news in this country forever. Before this, BBC, ITV and Channel 4 newsreaders always read the news behind a desk for the entire broadcast. Kirsty Young presented it standing up, and now every newsreader stands for at least part of their programmes. Legend!
