l Iive & love Ramona and I'd say look somewhere else this place is beautiful but there's nothing to do here for entertainment at all there is literally nothing to go out and do
I've been enjoying some of the new restaurants. It is a pretty sleep town!
It’s a really short drive to Poway and Carmel Mtn where there are lots of things to do and great places to eat.

I realize you are a RE agent, so you will steer toward the finer things in Ramona. I live here and adults with children should know they have one of the lower-rated school districts in SD county. I don't think this is a good place to raise kids...they can't wait to get out...as there is nothing for them to do. Drugs are a problem in Ramona also for young adults. IF you are retired or don't mind a long commute on hwy 67 into SD, then this may be a nice area for you. Because this is rural, home insurance is very difficult to get, as the community is rated a high fire risk. There is wildlife, coyotes, bobcats and other wonderful wildlife here. IF you don't appreciate wildlife, you would do better in a city environment. Poway is 10-20 minutes away, depending on where you live where you usually have to go for entertainment. I personally love it here, but I love wildlife, and an easy-going, layed back community.
I think as an affordable place to live it is growing
She's on a mission to discourage people from moving here. Negative Nancy. I know plenty of people who grew up here and remain here to raise kids of their own. People that live here, love it.
